Sarkozy is working to make France more like America is was in terms of free enterprise and wants France to become full members of NATO, and undo much of the damage done by Mitterand and Chirac, while Dear Leader and Comrades take us steadily to where France and other Socialist countries are.

Strange, but one day in the future it might be France and not America that becomes the fulfillment of the dreams of our forefathers like Patrick Henry, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Paine, Thomas Jefferson and the others. After all, they were influential in the bringing about of the French Revolution.

Why the Hell should Obama consult with NATO on this? It’s THEIR job to make concessions before they can hope for an audience. There are a certain group of organizations whom Obama has given a right to meetings without preconditions, and no NATO country is on that list.

Thats sort of an over-reaction dont you think? The facts of the story as reported yesterday were X. Therefore there was a logical response to those facts. Today the facts have changed. That development was reflected in the update to the post. Now the facts are Y and as a result we draw a different conclusion. I’m not sure where you see such a problem. The only reason I would have a problem is if the new facts were ignored in order to unjustly drive a political agenda. Seems like honest reporting and analysis to me. Where’s your particular beef derrived from?
