Up to now, I’ve been willing to go easy on the Republicans and Conservatives (not necessarily the same) who refused to hold their noses and vote for McCain. I told myself I was voting for Sarah and against socialism, so it was pretty easy, really.
But they do deserve much of the “credit” for what we are all facing now. I hope they sleep well when they finally come to terms with that. McCain may have taken baby steps toward socialism. Ogabe has made olympic-sized leaps.
Repairing this may take generations, if it’s even possible.

About half way through the 7 year tribulation period Satan is defeated and cast out of heaven and onto the earth. He then posesses a man (a political leader) known as antichrist. At this point, the earth becomes his new battleground and what turns out to be the beginning of the end of America. This is when America will be destroyed. The antichrist will turn on America and launch an all out nuclear attack. Satan will not stand to be ruled over by any man or nation. But the real question is whether a particular individual is one of “His people.” Hoping that it is true is way too risky for my taste – I want a guarantee that I personally am to be saved.

“Come out of her (America), my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4

I think the warning, “come out of her, my people,” could also be a warning for all people, not only Christian men and women who have been so willing to accept the world and compromise with the sin of Babylon (America exports immorality, pornography, materialism). As always, God warns his people not to compromise with the Babylonian system but to separate from it. As to your other comment about salvation, we can know we are saved and have Gods Spirit living in us when we love what He loves and desire to do His will, and have a hunger for His Word, a love for other believers, and a burden for the lost. The Holy Spirit also confirms in our spirit that we are now the children of God (Romans 8:16). See also 1 John 5:12-13. Take comfort in this.

Now, everything I am saying here must be in the Bible if it is to be true. I wanna be clear about something. I am not anti-American. I’m not anti-anything. I’m for truth. Period. And I love the American people very much and want to get as many saved as possible. As eluded to earlier, the world is becoming more and more arrogant about their provocations towards America. I’m referring to America being Babylon spoken of in the Scriptures. That is my theory on how this could play out based on my study of the Scriptures and listening to Bible scholars. Thank you.

I’m not trying to sell anything. And If I’ve said something that contradicts Scripture I urge you, no, I plead with you, reject it. Exercise your judgment and “Try the spirits whether they are of God” (1 John 4:1); and if you are led to disregard that America being Mystery Babylon – a suggestion that I consider to be true – then forsake it; do not hear it preached, believe what you see to be God’s word. I can say no more before I go forward from here.

Now is where I disagree with you. I do not believe that you have studied this topic in detail. Remember, the Bible says, “No prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation” in 2 Peter 1:20. You gotta check all the verses together before you get a doctrine, alright. Let’s look at the verse again:

“The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues (America is the world’s melting pot).” Revelation 17:15

You said this verse “implies a multinational organization.” I think you are getting religious and political Babylon mixed up. Future political Babylon is the United States. There is also a religious side to the empire, but we won’t chase that rabbit today. Look at the Scripture below. This is talking about a country that is the greatest commercial profit center of its time. No other nation can even be compared to its great wealth. The other nations will become rich due to their trade with this country. The merchants (businessmen) of this nation were revered around the world. Commerce will be devastated when it is destroyed. There will be great global loss both politically and financially. And something else important; this is not a landlocked country. It is surrounded by water as noted above, “The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth..” They will be delivering massive amounts of imported and exported goods through their waterways. Remember, the world is made rich through their enourmous trade and imports by ship. They will have major shipping lanes and be importing goods from all over the world. Mystery Babylon will be seen as the greatest economic power in the last days and many nations will be brought to financial devastation when they are destroyed.

“And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.” Revelation 18:16-19

These verse do not speak of an organization. This is an economic powerhouse destroyed in the last days with great consequences for the rest of the world. That’s a joke, right? It begins! To justify Obama spending Q-zillions of dollars, they harken back to Bush’s expenditures. Now, instead of slamming bush for every military action that he took on, they’re justifying Obama being a freaking wimp for every thing Bush DIDN’T take on.

Evidently that is the case, but I’m wondering about the logic of allowing Russian combat aircraft overfly US Navy warships. If they intended to strike, that is what they would need to do. Approach and fire. Sort of defeats the purpose of having all those layers of protection, ending with the phalanx system if they are going to allow adversaries to literally penetrate and overfly.

So should other countries shoot down our aircraft when we overfly their ships?

Do we really need to start a shooting war just to show we can shoot down their aircraft?

I appreciate your interest in solving the puzzle, but I don’t see Scripture supporting your theory. Who is Mystery Babylon? As I mentioned before I believe it is the United States. We have clues to draw from Scripture. Here are a few. The Bible says that Mystery Babylon will be the wealthiest nation on earth and responsible for making the whole world rich:

“Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.” Revelation 18:2-4

Mystery Babylon is also referred to as the Great Whore:

“The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues (America is the world’s melting pot).” Revelation 17:15

Sorry, but I don’t buy any of it. “Peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues” strongly implies a multinational organization, not a melting pot. And in Biblical terms, “whore” almost always implies false religion and false doctrine. The U.S., by contrast, is secular where it counts. While we have many religious groups in this country which take advantage of their freedom to export their doctrines across the world, they are not all tied together into one “Babylon,” and they have no backing from the U.S. as a whole.

Also, this Babylon religion has relationships with multiple kings and rulers across the world. Presumably, the religion supports the rulers and the rulers support the religion.

You could make an excellent case for Islam to be “Babylon,” but it’s really way off topic for a blog such as this.

Back on topic, no need to fear the world with Obama in charge. If a nation starts to get too dangerous with us, he’ll stop them cold by playing the race card!

We can talk about Bush all day long but he is no longer a factor. We can talk about BHO all day long but he is a puppet and not a factor except as a front man. All this is going on and Soros is getting richer and richer while your 401K is going into the toilet. Podesta put in place all the high tech communications that we witness every day; in fact many of the posters on this site are probably his people doing his bidding and we give them credence.

Wake up to what is going on behind the curtain because that is the real game and right now the general public is losing big time.
