Video: Shep Smith goes nuclear on Barney Frank, Congress over AIG bonuses

A fiery palate cleanser from this afternoon’s Studio B. Note the ringing populist note on which it ends. Good enough for Glenn Beck, good enough for Shep!

Blowback

Wow, getalife sure stunk up this thread. Now, where were we? Ah, yes, faux outrage from the Democrats.

As much as I love seeing the stinking inhabitants of the Congresspool called out for the hypocrites that they are, I wish more attention could be paid to the role that the leader of the party that controls both houses, one Barack Obama, has had in this. He is still skating behind the skirts of both Congress and his staff. Which is it, is he an out of the loop figurehead, or is he actually steering this clown car as it careens from ditch to ditch? Which is it – Obama wants it both ways too!
Oh yes, and I should add that Shep will get a lot more admiration from me when he mans up to the smear job he did on the last POTUS over Katrina. He smeared the last real President we had, and helped stick us with this dangerous fake.

Damn! When Shep is right, he’s right.

Obama may speak better than Bush, but I’m not sure by what measure.

I’ve been mulling this over all day. I’d suggest that Pres. Obama is a better reader than many other politicians. Take away his Teleprompter and he is sub par. W, despite his faults, was a leader who stuck to his convictions and spoke from his heart. When you believe in what you say, you don’t need a Telepormpter. I’ll take substance over style any day of the week.

Interesting that the Marxists are saying how it’s the Republicans feigning outrage…am I missing something here? Are we at war with Eurasia?

Beck’s ratings are really putting Shep and Bill O in a bind, huh?

But But But they didn’t have time to read the BILL cuz they were working on operation “RUSHBO”

DSchoen on March 19, 2009 at 4:04 AM

The best part is the gop faking outrage about the bonuses when they were for the bonuses.
Hypocrites.
getalife

Considering that the “loop hole” that allowed these bonuses to be paid was in the Stim bill that Repubs were locked out of all negotiations and the Dems forced a vote BEFORE anyone had read the Stim Bill,

How TF can you conclude the repubs were FOR “the bonuses” when they were NEVER allowed to read the Stim plan.?

How would they know what was in it?

DSchoen on March 19, 2009 at 4:26 AM

Without is teleprompter telling him what to say, Obama makes W. look like one of our better orators…

golfer1 on March 19, 2009 at 5:33 AM

Ahh the Rush-To-Spend Stimulus…remember when all the moonbats and card-carrying dems said that it had to be passed, and that Repubs were just obstructionists? Yeah, ok. So…maybe the Republican reluctance to pass something without reading it MIGHT have had some justification? No?

At the rate things are going, it won’t be long before the American public will be hunting Democrats with dogs!
