In November American public was intent upon electing a man based not upon his leadership skills, experience or any other thing you would expect, but solely on the fact that he has african roots and they were hell bent on making history. Well we’re all going to reap what they’ve sown and it’s not going to be pretty.

I think it could get ugly. Gun and ammunition sales are astronomical. Either people are worried they will not be able to get guns and ammo in the future, or they are afraid thy will be needing them soon.

This Obama guy could me making trouble on a scale even he isn't bright enough to imagine. $hitcanning the US is an atrocity many Americans will not tolerate.

What the heck, you only live once, and standing around like a bunch of cows and letting the country be destroyed is not an option for people of action.

"an administration in disarray"

what a shock.

What about all that experience the idiot in the WH had "legislating" and "leading", and his brilliant "mind" and "world view".

Maybe we just don't understand how these little hiccups contribute to the long view.

Great post Allah,
especially this quote:

“Add up all the hours staffers spent discussing Rush Limbaugh in the last two weeks and compare that to the number of hours spent discussing AIG’s bonuses and tell me what the answer is.”

How many liberals went on and on and on about how smart it was for Obama's administration to start this distraction with Limbaugh that has increased his audience by over 35% and made the Obama administration look petty and amateurish.

People who come to sites like this and voice their opinion and sometimes outright opposition to the growing danger of the US turning too may be the last American patriots. I would gladly stand next to any person who wanted to preserve what we were, regardless of whether they were born here or not.

I grew up in a community of asian refugees, they are far better Americans than the Berkeley brigades....

the problem with your hypothesis is that LG is as precise as the impact crater of the Tsar Bomba which is to say he is denigrating ALL Americans without identifying what his issue is.

If he laments that we are simply posting here he misunderstands a few points....

1) several of us also do other things

2) we are simply out of power and still sweeping up from "Captain Republican and the Rampage of the RiNOs" for the last 8 years....

K street killed Reagan's revolution the grassroots need to relight the fires with or without the RNC.

Bush won’t criticize Obama he deserves my silence…so who still thinks George W Bush is a Conservative?

The last thing we need is another Jimmy Carter on the loose. Give Dubya a break, dude, and let him enjoy his retirement in a classy way. I rather like that Cheney is doing the criticizing, kinda the role of VP nominee but here he's the VP alum.

Frankly, a true conservative on Capitol Hill is a rarity these days, anyhow--no one up there is looking for ways to limit the three branches of the federal government.

And y'all, instead of talking smack about the president, let's do our part and send an email or two to the White House website making sure they're updated on other "current events" such as:
1. The terrorist attacks of 9/11
2. NAFTA's passage in the '90s
3. Our alliance with the Brits subsequent to 1812
4. The Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 (the later "demise" of the Soviet Union notwithstanding)
5. Gas prices exceeding $4 per gallon last summer
6. The Cuban Missile Crisis
7. Russia's shame in Afghanistan
8. And last, but not least, will someone inform the president that his 2008 campaign is over?

I've read LGs posts. I'm sure he's what he says he is. I've found in my travels a lot of folks who came to America from other countries knowing that this once great nation was the last bastion of hope against a world that was growing more and more into a socialist/marxist state. I am increasingly sharing his disappointment.

I’m convinced this is just a distraction because of the mounting public sentiment against the bailout bucks and the tea parties.

Big time. And to divert attention from the really sh!tty legislation they've been ramming through Congress, too. It's just amazing, really.

And the media is firmly behind them. I was on a treadmill in a gym (with all the senior citizens here in the resort) and the CNN talking head was just beside himself about getting the government involved and stopping the bonuses from being paid.

The real story should come out. I'm surprised that he House Republicans aren't reminding people that they fought all this junk, taking heat the whole time.

Stay safe, hawkdriver.

Big time. And to divert attention from the really sh!tty legislation they’ve been ramming through Congress, too. It’s just amazing, really.

You're right, it is a distraction, a cover your ass distraction. Somebody must have whispered in BO's ear, hey dude... The American people are getting really pissed about the new tax sitution and if you dont do something fast, loud and very distracting they are going to blame you.

I just read found and read the whole transcript on Rush's page. I think what he was trying to say is that obama made a de facto pardon of this guy Liddy by declaring he just came on board after the bonuses were contracted last year. Not a real pardon, but I get what he means.

I did read in the same transcript and a couple articles googling though that said the administration and really everyone that follows finances knew a year ago even before the melt-down that AIG was contracted for these bonuses. I'm convinced this is just a distraction because of the mounting public sentiment against the bailout bucks and the tea parties.

President Obama and his top economic advisers scrambled to calm a nationwide furor {that they created} on Monday over bonuses paid

What’s a community disorganizer again?

Obama.

!!!!!!!!!!

I just watched Barney Frank get interviewed by some nitwit on CBS this morning. It was like watch a goose in a dogfight. She was an ignoramus.

She asked about the bonuses and Frank went off talking about Bernanke and the Fed giving $85 billion to AIG. He said NOTHING about the bonuses and she didn't bother to ask why he voted to guarantee the AIG bonuses.

She was attractive, but she is an idiot.

Thats my favorite fairy tale.

athensboy on March 18, 2009 at 7:18 AM

Then tuck in, buttercup. Have I gotta nursery rhyme for you!

Once Upon A Time, Obama the Simpleton cried "Why must we hurt Wolves, who are only trying to survive under the horrible regime of the delicious Sheep & Geese? The Wolves just need a talking to!" So having grown fat and stupid under the watchful eye of the Wolfslayer $hrubhitlerburton, the villagers made Obama their new official Wolf-Talker.

The villagers went back to their jobs, feeling quite proud they had chosen the first-ever town fool to be a wolf-catcher. Yet while the Simpleton was supposed to be hunting for Wolves, he snuck over to the Money-Lender's cottage and traded the Village Constitution and the Village Treasury for some Magic Waffles.

When the villagers came looking for their pay for working all day in the hayfields, they discovered the only thing left was a few copper slugs. "Where is our silver?!" They cried aloud. Obama looked around nervously, but then said, "I have given the treaury to the Money-Lender, because if I didn't, there wouldn't be any more hay jobs!"

So the people shrugged. They were sad they didn't have silver, but at least they would still have jobs.

The Money-Lender then took a huge sack of silver and gave it to his son, who bought a new horsecart made in Germany and a slew of other costly goods from the village over the hill.

"Outrageous!" Cried the village suckers. Now Obama the Softhead was very nervous. He had already eaten the Magic Waffles, and was starting to get angry looks from the villagers, who were getting less fat and stupid by the day.

"I am shocked!" Declared Obama, "give me that silver, you sneak!" But the villagers didn't believe him, and started to chase him with hayforks. They chased him all the way to the river. But since Obama had never stopped the Wolves like he was supposed to do, a huge pack lept upon them and gobbled up the village. Then they gobbled up the sheep and the geese, and the Money-Lender, and finaly, Obama the Doughbrain.

And The Wolves Lived Happily Ever After... until Israel nuked the canines out of them.

The End
