The last thing we need is another Jimmy Carter on the loose. Give Dubya a break, dude, and let him enjoy his retirement in a classy way. I rather like that Cheney is doing the criticizing, kinda the role of VP nominee but here he’s the VP alum.
Frankly, a true conservative on Capitol Hill is a rarity these days, anyhow–no one up there is looking for ways to limit the three branches of the federal government.
And y’all, instead of talking smack about the president, let’s do our part and send an email or two to the White House website making sure they’re updated on other “current events” such as:
1. The terrorist attacks of 9/11
2. NAFTA’s passage in the ’90s
3. Our alliance with the Brits subsequent to 1812
4. The Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 (the later “demise” of the Soviet Union notwithstanding)
5. Gas prices exceeding $4 per gallon last summer
6. The Cuban Missile Crisis
7. Russia’s shame in Afghanistan
8. And last, but not least, will someone inform the president that his 2008 campaign is over?

No bill of attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed.
So, how is Schmuckie Schumer going to write laws that specifically tax last week’s bonuses?

I grew up in a community of asian refugees, they are far better Americans than the Berkeley brigades….
the problem with your hypothesis is that LG is as precise as the impact crater of the Tsar Bomba which is to say he is denigrating ALL Americans without identifying what his issue is.
If he laments that we are simply posting here he misunderstands a few points….
1) several of us also do other things
2) we are simply out of power and still sweeping up from “Captain Republican and the Rampage of the RiNOs” for the last 8 years….
K street killed Reagan’s revolution the grassroots need to relight the fires with or without the RNC.

Chuckles and Ogabe think the Constitution and Bill of Rights are simply archaic poorly worded law….not the foundation for the Republic or anything…

Great post Allah,
especially this quote:
“Add up all the hours staffers spent discussing Rush Limbaugh in the last two weeks and compare that to the number of hours spent discussing AIG’s bonuses and tell me what the answer is.”
How many liberals went on and on and on about how smart it was for Obama’s administration to start this distraction with Limbaugh that has increased his audience by over 35% and made the Obama administration look petty and amateurish.

Hey, lets have a tea party at AIG offices.

In November American public was intent upon electing a man based not upon his leadership skills, experience or any other thing you would expect, but solely on the fact that he has african roots and they were hell bent on making history. Well we’re all going to reap what they’ve sown and it’s not going to be pretty.

“an administration in disarray”
what a shock.
What about all that experience the idiot in the WH had “legislating” and “leading”, and his brilliant “mind” and “world view”.
Maybe we just don’t understand how these little hiccups contribute to the long view.

Obama needs to go back to community organizing. Maybe he can head up acorn, but he is damn sure way over his head at POTUS.

I think it could get ugly. Gun and ammunition sales are astronomical. Either people are worried they will not be able to get guns and ammo in the future, or they are afraid thy will be needing them soon.
This Obama guy could me making trouble on a scale even he isn’t bright enough to imagine. $hitcanning the US is an atrocity many Americans will not tolerate.
What the heck, you only live once, and standing around like a bunch of cows and letting the country be destroyed is not an option for people of action.

Yes, but he’ll pick the NCAA Division I champions and his approval rating will shoot up 20%.
