It would be a wake up call if I actually thought it would make a dent in your apathy. I don’t. Ultimately it’s just me venting the same old exasperation that builds up from time-to-time.

Republicans stopping anything! I must be at comedy central. The Repubs can’t stop anything. They have and will continue to pass all of Obama’s bills. Snowe, Collins and Specter will guarantee it. Yet we spend our time yelling at Dems for being Dems. The enemy is us.

Obama and crew are considering this approach not to prevent Repubs from blocking stupid bills, but from over riding Dems for crossing party lines and joining with the remaining Repubs and blocking legislation. This has absolutely nothing to do with the Repub party. Obama takes those three Senate votes for granted, as well he should.

I have said before the only way Pelosi, Reid and Obama bills fail is because they are so outrageous that even the unified Dems vote against them.

I have seen An Inconvenient Truth and if we don’t let the Dear Leader act soon, the oceans will rise, the sky will turn black and brown, and all the worst bits of the Bible will come to pass. Probably on Tuesday.

Driving this nation into Third World status is impossible, as it is impossible to develop China or India to be a First World nation.

There are some things they are not going to adopt – quality(China) or not making their citizens second class(US, China).

Removing the filibuster now will grant them more power, so it is a good thing. Restricting it in any fashion 4 years ago would have limited their power, so then it was a bad thing.
