Nice. Did you read anything about this? This is what happened. Meghan McCain criticized Ann Coulter. Then rather than sticking to the argument Laura Ingraham called Meghan McCain plus-sized. I don’t know if you get the reference but that means someone is fat. So don’t insult me and call me vacuous when you haven’t followed the story.

See I’m a conservative but I don’t stick up for other conservatives just because they’re conservative when I believe they’re wrong. Laura made the mistake of personally attacking McCain when she disagreed with McCain’s views — something the Left always does when they’re losing an argument. Personally, I think it’s pathetic. And now rather than debating the issues, the narrative has changed to the right being mean to poor, little Meghan McCain, the victim and new media darling.

Oh, and I don’t watch The View since it’s full of insipid, old women. Oh, wait you might not have understood that. What it means is that The View is made up of dull, old women.

Always remember: the talking heads are focused on profit first and conservativism second (as any good capitalist should be) and their ‘opinion’ is therefore suspect; and that the talking heads are only useful to the conservative movement when they are promoting the conservative agenda. When these folks create sideshows for the sake of ratings or book promotion, they become a distraction and a detriment to disrupting the Demoncrat hive-mind.

So true – but when women and weight are involved suddenly it becomes the end of civility. Maybe Laura should have just told Meghan to STFU?

These talk radio people are worse than worthless. Most people pick up on unnecessary nastiness, and most people are politically apathetic enough to allow this stuff to shape how they see the right wing establishment. There really isn’t any benefit from these people, they just make it harder to make the point that we know what’s going on, and we’re backing these policies because we’re right.

Meghan fired first in this when she said of Ann Coulter that, aside from Ann’s policies, Meghan doesn’t like her “demeanor.”

Saying you don’t like someone’s demeanor isn’t the same as calling someone fat. Coulter’s manner of attack is off-putting. She acts like she’s smarter than everyone else in the room, and McCain acknowledging that isn’t the same as Ingraham’s comment about McCain being large.

McCain’s piece was juvenile, but then argue and give reasons why you disagree with the piece. Ingraham should have been the adult and not let herself get baited by a youngster. The media loves McCain’s attack on the right so why give her more oxygen? All Ingraham did was give McCain more attention and turned her into a victim of the right when she should have dismissed her.

Let’s face it, Laura Ingraham is a whole lot more conservative and EXPERIENCED as a talk-show host than Meghan McCain, but she should know better than to criticize Meghan McCain’s looks–let’s stick to the ISSUES, like why John McCain lost the election, and how to beat the Democrats next time.

Meghan McCain needs to GROW UP and realize that if she wants Republicans to win the next election, she can’t be insulting a conservative talk-show host who reaches millions of conservative listeners, whose votes the next Republican Presidential candidate will desperately need, on a show with a mostly-liberal audience, giving more ammunition to the left.

John McCain might not have been our best candidate, and conservatives don’t agree with him on all issues, but he is a man of principle and a class act. His daughter needs to take a good long look at her “old man” and learn to be more classy and less sassy.

A house divided against itself cannot stand!!!

Ann let that go, but like a good sistah, Ingraham then took a snarky little swipe at Meghan’s weight. Meghan took the bait and then lost the issue by getting profane — telling Ingraham to kiss her fat a**.

I’m not sure why she felt she needed to do that, but she just made McCain a media darling and victim. Thanks to Ingraham every conservative will likely be asked if they agree with Ingraham, changing the focus of the debate.

The Left can get away with that behavior, conservatives, who are supposed to be the grown-ups, cannot.

I like Meghan, she actually makes Republicans likeable and not just appear as the party of stuffy, rich, old White males.
