Quote of the day

“I mention this for one reason: Tony Ward is the President’s nominee to head the Justice Department’s Civil Division. If you want to know how far we are past 9/11, there’s your answer: John Walker Lindh’s defense attorney is going to work for Justice.”

Can you feel the finger in your eye, yet?

Christian Conservative on March 13, 2009 at 12:49 AM

9/10, or 9/11 at 0830 hours EST, is the paradigm. History stopped on that day, and began again on Jan 20, 2009. End of discussion. Everything in between was just a reason to vilify the American President and regain power. Nothing to see here, move along.

JeffWeimer on March 13, 2009 at 12:51 AM

John Walker Lindh’s defense attorney is going to work for Justice.

And the lawyer for the man who shot Reagan is Obama’s WH Counsel.

Change indeed.

CP on March 13, 2009 at 1:10 AM

John Walker Lindh’s attorney got him a twenty year federal sentance. If he was so good, why didn’t he get him off? Loser!

Back to the subject at hand:

JWL is a turd. Obama is an incompetent failure. The End.

hillbillyjim on March 13, 2009 at 1:24 AM

I don’t know which is more scary to consider…that the current administration is this incompetent or that they are this calculating.

Either option means we’re screwed.

SassyDarlin on March 13, 2009 at 1:28 AM

Who’d a thunk it!?! The guy that spent 20 years listening to some nut screaming about how 9/11 was America’s chickens coming home to roost appoints someone to justice that’s a terrorist apologist/ defender.

I remember wandering around Manhattan in the days following 9/11. If half the crap that is going on today were even suggested then, I am certain that the entire population of the NY metro area would have been on their way to DC with murder in their eyes and would not have stopped until each and every one of these idiots, from the White House on down, were dangling from the Capital dome.

darktood on March 13, 2009 at 2:31 AM

Deja vu Clintons who seeded radical-left characters like Janet Reno, Dem-fem hack from Fl who before becoming the legal voice of Clintonia fought to preserve the chad voting system in Florida counties, which was like money in the bank for the Democrats in tight elections. Scream, cry discrimination while shaking chads on the floor as taught in seminars for vote bloating

‘Memories’ of the Florida Presidential election, so usefully staged by pre-Clinton Reno, are still used to jack the masses

Recall of the Clinton era have been blurred by layers of whitewash from the MSM, but it was radical

If Obama had a Waco, would the press pull the same games they did for the Clinton honor? If Obama sent out snipers to Ruby Ridge how would the public take it?

Jamie Gorelick, of Housing fiasco fame, and 911 fiasco fame, was Deputy Attorney General under Clinton and highly involved in the TWA Flight 800 ‘investigation

Lani Guinier and her proposed system of weighted voting to prevent the tyranny of the majority by giving extra votes to minorities as deteremined by a council of wise elders (the elders to be chosen by unnamed parties and apparently not the tyrannical majority). Lani herself was nominatd by Clinton and not a council of wise elders to head the Civil Rights division of DOJ

And no one can match the crass Clinton in 1993 requesting the resignation of all 93 fed prosecutor the day he took office, the better to stack the deck

It is amazing how much the press has rehabilitated Clinton. Obama is nore of the same except Obama shows a distinct distaste for America, and American traditions while Clinton has shown appreciation and an enjoyment of the role

Hey all you “Birthers” who are embarrassing yourselves over the Obama birth certificate non-controversy – you are actively damaging the political point of view you purport to support.

Of course you know this and since you insist on persisting, I can only conclude that “Birthers” must = Mobys.

Now a couple of you may be unintentional Mobys but the results are indistinguishable. Not to mention incredibly tedious at this point.

It all started in Germany, just a speech,of Hope and Change,
of a NEW Politics,a HOPE,Old Politics to go by the wayside,
as a ‘New Change’was being ushered in,a new direction,it
was repeated again,

at the football Stadium,an expensive ordeal,to be sure, the
‘Roman Temple Pillars of Perpetual Hope, and NeverEnding Ch
ange,and continual ongoing Perception/Deception!

and now,Obama might release an American Terrorist,no,not
that one, Ayers, but of the misguided,American that choose
Jihad, maybe Obama see’s in John as the same as Ayers, who
knows!

Obama wants to talk to the moderates of the Taliban, maybe
to negotiate common ground, even tho,I’m pretty sure that
America doesn’t make any deal with any terrorists,PERIOD!

So,maybe this is Obama’s new Hope and Change,I guess Liberal
s will make deal’s with the DEVIL,if it helps the Party!

However,in the last few months,Obama has sent out so many
signals across the world, its becoming dizzying, and

EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TO AMERICA

and the FREE WORLD!

Whoa, there. I understand and share the outrage over this latest act by the Obama Administration. But before you go trashing an entire profession, keep in mind that there are countless numbers of attorneys in this country, none of whom make any headlines, who help their communities by putting in significant pro bono hours and doing many other good works. Who knows – perhaps you someday will have a legal need and will have to turn to one of these people for help.

Interesting points. Narcissism is frequently misunderstood to be an overabundance of self-love, but in fact, it is about self-hatred. The narcissist is filled with self-loathing, so he works especially hard to polish the exterior so no one will know how worthless he really is (as he sees himself). Thus, narcissists are very thin-skinned–any time someone comes close to what is beneath the surface, they react strongly in order to protect that surface appearance (and the reaction is always revelatory, but people don’t ofen understand what they’re seeing). Narcissists often have enablers who don’t understand what is really happening, but do begin to understand the eggshells they need to walk on to keep things with the narcissist on an even keel.

In the case of Mr. Obama, we’ve seen this thin-skinned reaction again and again. Thus far, the press has acted as the enabler–and Mr. Obama rewards them for their fawning and punishes them when they get too close. Final note: It is not surprising his wife has such power over him–he’s the picture of insecurity, and in all likelihood feels quite lucky to have a woman who is so “superior” to him. You can bet she knows how to get under that surface quickly, and she also knows how to soothe it. This is not to say that she deliberately messes with him–it would be difficult to make such a claim based on what we see publicly–but it may be how they function, nonetheless.

DrMagnolias on March 13, 2009 at 8:24 AM

And what is it we can do? Obama controls the media. We could shout the sky down and the MSM will report it as “Right wing radical hate mongers cause the sky to fall, Obama plans new regulation to curb threat”

He controls the congress; he can say what he needs to say like “I want merit pay for teachers” but he can count on his congress to not include it in any bill or, if they have too, to water it down.

He does not yet control the Supreme Court. I predict that in about six months we will see some “scandal” with Justice Roberts or Justice Thomas. Roberts because they want his seat or Thomas because they lost the Anita Hill thing, and they always get revenge when they can.

Another exciting pick from Obama:

Obama appoints cop-hater
as ‘green-czar’

(MichaelSavage.com) The newly appointed special advisor for green jobs, enterprise and innovation at the White House Council on Environmental Quality is Van Jones, founder and director of the San Francisco-based Bay Area Police Watch.

Police Watch describes itself as “an organization that assists survivors of police misconduct and brutality.”

Jones founded the group in 1993 as a hotline and lawyer-referral service for victims and survivors of police abuse.

A 1993 graduate of Yale Law School, Jones also is founding president of Green For All and a senior fellow with the Center for American Progress. Green For All says its mission is to build an “inclusive, green economy” that will solve “the ecological crisis” and lift millions out of poverty.

And Obama was asked last month by Gov Rick Perry to send a 1,000 troops to the Texas/Mexican Border…The One is still deliberating. You know, like when Russia attacked Georgia during the campaign (Moral Equivalency) So is Obama trying to figure out if Texas is just asking for it? American Cities experiencing Mexican Drug Gang Violence Spill Over Pheonix, Arizona, Atlanta, Georgia, and Birmingham, Alabama….Governor Perry was on Fox News yesterday with Neil Cavuto. Rick Perry is turning down the stimulus money because it has too many strings attached. He said Texans will take care of themselves, thanks anyway we do know how. Neil said do you suppose Vice President Joe Biden meant by his response, that the Federal Government won’t help you with the Border Problem because you won’t take the stimulus money? Governor Perry “I hope not it is the Federal Government’s Job to protect the U.S Border not individual states, and the problem doesn’t stop in a State with a Republican Governor, it spreads to states with Democrat Governors also..True Dat Mr President. How about we get some attention on the Southern Border Mr President, and you and your Vice President stop playing Politics with OUR security. What say you Mr President?
