Sometimes a bad cartoon is just a bad cartoon.

If a political cartoon sends three or four conflicting messages. It’s just visual gibberish — a colorful version of a speech by someone like Luis Farrakhan or Bjork.

Like all liberals, this artist satirizes nothing but his own lack of wit.

I take it to mean that he’s not convinced that a policy of talking to thugs is going to get positive results, and that Hillary’s fooling herself with the “on our terms” justification: The flag represents American abasement and appeasement. She’s made an ass of herself on her first important diplomatic outing. Plus, the British are angry that they (as longstanding allies, rather than Brown as an individual, who is widely disliked) have been dissed so spectacularly, while playing kissy-kissy with the bad guys. It’s alright for the British to question whether there’s a Special Relationship, but to be told by the President’s fratboys that there isn’t is devastating, like being dumped.

Walk all over us (on our terms)? Doesn’t make sense. The carpet is in the desert though, not sure why.

I have concluded it’s a pretty crappy cartoon on several levels.

#2 was definitely the intent.
