Pelosi 2007: Hey, I’m happy to fly commercial
posted at 5:55 pm on March 11, 2009 by Allahpundit
Huh. On the one hand, we’ve got a string of recently uncovered e-mails dating to 2007 describing her staff’s whining that military craft aren’t at her beck and call, and on the other we’ve got this archival pro forma denial from Madam Speaker herself. I wonder whom we should believe. She certainly sounds sincere.
Make sure you read down to the end to see what she wanted just to avoid an extra 90 minutes of driving time. Click the image to watch.

Flying on Military Aircraft is a privilege brought to you by the American Taxpayer. A Privilege that Pelosi is abusing. A C-20 fulfills the SOTH requirements.

Why doesn’t she just fly home on her broomstick?

Mr./Ms. Kid,
I live in Elk Grove. Where are you? Damn, I’d like to talk to another conservative around here.
Not Over.

Well miss pants on fire! But I love that pearl necklace!!!! I wonder what that cost? She wears it all the time.

Her broom must be in the shop.
chunderroad on March 11, 2009 at 9:03 PM
Spit. Thus the need for the military plane.

LIAR!!!!!

Sometimes I just want to pound my head against the wall over and over again. Is there a single elected government official in office that doesn’t lie? I think not. Right to your face, to a camera, in print. Doesn’t matter. It’s like taking a breath to them. Pitiful.

Hey, I’m one hundred millionth in line for the presidency. Where’s my plane?

No coffee service. And besides the thought of looking skyward and seeing up her skirt is just too depressing for words

She could use the Ruby Slippers, being that she’s over the rainbow.

Most of them are lawyers, you know. I guess being an attorney is like a gateway drug that leads to political office. Being “imperfect” is part of the job.
BobMbx on March 11, 2009 at 10:51 PM
I don’t think she is intentionally lying I just believe that she is insane….I think it is the culmination of all those face lifts that have pulled her face so tight that her original eyebrows are now up into her hairline thus requiring the use of a Binney and Smith #8 burnt sienna Crayola Crayon to give her new brows that natural look of constant surprise…I believe all those years of using these Chinese lead laden Crayons have taken their toll…

Democratic leader of the House caught lying.
Uhhhh……let’s talk about Bush.
One of the democratic leaders of the worst Congress in our Nation’s history.
Uhhhh………let’s talk about Bush.
One of the democratic leaders of the worst Congress in our history that helped protect the sub-prime corruption,Fannie/Freddie economic mess.
Uhhhh………let’s talk about Bush.
One of the democratic leaders that lead the way for more money being spent and added to the National debt in 50 days that exceeds Iraq,Afghanistan,Katrina combined, and comes out to about 1 billion dollars an hour.
Uhhhh………..let’s talk about Bush.
One of the democratic leaders of “the most ethical Congress evah!!” sitting next to Rangel, Murtha, and part of an administration that can’t fill cabinet posts because every democrat they find is too ignorant and corrupt to fill the job.
Uhhhh………let’s talk about Bush.
One of the democratic leaders who is always going on about
the “crimes of the Bush regime” yet has the power to impeach, but does nothing. Proving that either they are lying about all these bogus charges propped up on cut-and-paste propaganda or they are complicit in them.
Uhhhh……….let’s talk about Bush.
Watching the liberal MSM,pundits,websites,and Congressional
officials still rant and whine about Bush so they don’t have to address the pathetic Circus and the amateur Clowns that make up this democratic administration is hilarious.
Even the top voices of the left are starting to catch on to how idiotic this has gotten:
Yes Nancy, the democratic leader of the House is an absolute liar, which is as guaranteed as the
sun rising in the East and setting in the West.

Although I think they are generally morons, I would so love to work as a TSA guy when Pelosi comes through the security line at my airport! She would so get the full cavity search (by a very unlucky female agent of course)! We’d toss every bit of her carry-on luggage and rip every thing to shreds just to make sure that everything is safe. If any smart ass secret service guys got in the way, we’d slam them up against the wall and give them the anal probe as well… Muwhahahahah!

Three items:
Baxter Greene — It is NOT talking about President Bush it is lying about President Bush. You know what they are like.
clinker46, BobMbx, chunderroad et. al. you are giving this grand ma in tennis shoes waaaayyyy too much credit. The evil characters you mentioned at least had skill and panache.
GM bailout? Finally, why was it not mentioned that they have armour plated Cadllacs and drivers for the poor dear? They have Caddies and Tahoes that look stock from a reasonable distance and can stop 7.62 and minor explosions. Also notice that The One has not ordered an investigation into this. I guess he knows that there would be nobody to run the government if she and Emmanuel the animal went down.

130293115677 — Armour plated Caddie on E-bay. She can exempt her driver from minimum wage laws like she did fishermen in part of her district in Samoa (to preserve jobs!) and not need GS-5s as often. I heard security was a big part of this…

Frankly no one who cares about either the debt crisis or global warming flies around on a G5 on the taxpayer’s dime.

This Woman is absolutely a Crazy, amazing how the big hand of government applies to everyone else.

Considering where she is from (the land of fruits and nuts) always listen to her with your mind in reverse speech mode.
Her intolerance for others below her, and according to the organizational chart she carriers around to remind people she is number 3, everyone is beneath her.
As a retired USAF member, I have first hand knowledge of the Special Missions unit responsible for moving the president and other dignitaries around the world.
These people are highly trained professionals who provide their customers the best service in the world at a moments notice. All they need is the passengers name and all that persons needs and quirks are known and prepared while the passenger is enroute to Andrews AFB.
To provide this service requires extensive manpower and equipment that works the first time and all the time is expensive. Because there is not an endless supply of these planes and crews who stand ready 24/7 to serve and there are others in the world more important than Speechless Pfuoshitso, there is the possibility that a plane is not available.
Unfortunately, being number 3 gives Speechless Pflofit an ego that cannot accept the fact that there are many others more important than she is. Also, she does not understand that NO. is a complete sentence.

I noticed in the RedState piece that Pelosi (or rather her staff) noted that she lives 1.5 hours from SFO. Doesn’t Pelosi represent San Francisco? SFO is only about a 20 minute drive from the city. Having lived in the Bay Area, an hour and a half from SFO puts you pretty darn far from San Francisco. Even with Bay Area traffic.
crusader1145 on March 12, 2009 at 11:22 AM
OK, Madam Speaker, if you’re serious about flying commercial, add up the costs of the military flights you took, subtract out the cost of commercial flights to the same destinations, and reimburse the difference to the Treasury.
To call the tune, you’ve got to pay the piper.

I knew this months ago, well before the election, that FactCheck.org is funded by the Annenberg Foundation. You don’t have to go to Wikipedia (which also has credibility issues, to put it mildly) to prove this–FactCheck.org’s own website recognizes this.
The problem is, with a name like FactCheck, and media fawning over it, most of the sheeple believe it’s factual, and not partisan.
Steve Z on March 12, 2009 at 12:19 PM
Why does this witch need a plane anyway, she can ride her broom.
