An utter disgrace, but possibly a useful one per this intriguing detail buried in the Daily Mail’s report:
[T]he Muslim protesters were unrepentant about their abusive attack on the soldiers.
Care assistant Abu Omar, 30, said:’ If Hitler had committed those crimes noone would be cheering, and they shouldn’t just because they are British.
‘They are 21st century Nazis.’
Teacher Sayful Islam, self-styled leader of the Luton branch of al-Muhajiroun – the now banned radical Muslim organisation led by Sheikh Omar Bakri – was prominent amongst the demonstrators.
Al-Muhajiroun is an infamous jihadist outfit organized by Omar Bakri Mohammed, the British Islamist kingpin currently in exile in Lebanon. Rusty and the Jawas keep tabs on them and suspected them of being behind a similarly notorious protest three years ago which you’ll likely remember; even the signs look similar. If that’s who organized today’s demonstration, MI5 at least got a good look at some potential suspects. There were about 20 in all according to the news clip posted by Gateway Pundit.
Britain being Britain, the Mail wonders if they can be prosecuted for inciting “racial hatred.” By jeering troops?

It is stuff like this that leads me to believe that the UK is finished.
I saw the movie “28 Days Left” a few years ago. I realized that the UK as it is, is really not even worth saving. I didn’t care about the characters in the movie at all. They were like the zombies in some respects. Everybody was lost if you know what I mean.
To fight effectively to prevent what has happened to the UK from happening here, we have to not be lost. Only convictions can fight that kind of hate and belief. There is no time for doubts when in a cage fight with Muslims.

Re-read that. I’m no lawyer but with no interest mortgages being made to accomodate Muslims in MN one might argue that American citizens are getting excessive fines / mortgages / closing fees compared to Muslims.
Add Sharia law into the mix with its literal eye for an eye punishment (which, I believe would be the stronger argument) one might argue that Islam, as practiced, should be outlawed per our Constitution.

Guess I’m in a minority here, but I think the
Brits will, at some point, say “Enough” and start clearing the decks regardless of political appeasement factors. These things gather fury as they go. Likewise, I think, in mainland Europe at some point in the near future. A couple of major terrorist attacks plus some other priming factors will show the jihadis and probably many Muslim innocents, that Europeans are quite good at killing once they get started. There are many tensions right now, and it appears to me there is beginning to be some pushback against immigrant Muslim aggressiveness. It won’t end nicely.

This looked like another litmus test on how strong Muslim influence is becoming. Britain isn’t quite dead yet. Huge swaths of the nation outside of the major cities hardly know sacred Muslims grace Britain’s shores. It’s only when you see Britain from the middle of one of the urban tumors of Muslim squalor that the nation looks doomed. It is however probably unable to right itself from within the current structure of the nation as it is right now. A reboot with a temporary anarchical period of nasty unpleasantness for every one but most especially the Muslim diversity assets will prevail.
It is surprising that no one has mentioned the period of the Danegeld and what became of the overbearing Danes in Britain overnight.

As I said, that’s the weaker of the 2 arguments I proposed.
Take a look at the 8th Amendment dealing with excessive bails, fines and cruel and unusual punishment.
Cruel and unusual punishment is banned per our Constitution. I’m hoping an enterprising lawyer can make the case that cruel and unusual religions can also be banned, per our Constitution.
We don’t have eye for an eye punishment here, period.
Throw in the angle of no interest mortgages for Muslims only for good measure. I understand the mortgage interest is added to the principal making their monthly payments higher but can you get a loan like that? Maybe, but isn’t what they’re doing in Minnesota explicitly catering to one religious group over everyone else?

Why is this incident reported and debated,but not the act of terrorism we have had.
The ‘real’ I.R.A on the terrorist list ambushed British soldiers killing two and pizza delivery men.The soldiers were due to go to Afghanistan the following day.
Three killings in two days,this is more of a threat to our security .

I’m on the east coast of Canada, 20 miles inland from the sea in a tidal river valley unsurpassed on the planet for beauty.
I’ve been visiting several British blogs to try and get a feel for what seems to be happening. At first it was difficult to differentiate between political leanings as all mainstream parties are almost indistinguishable as were the posters at each site. But then I looked at the links column and saw what they claimed to represent. I didn’t bother with the BNP sites as I wanted to see who was who in the ruling groups. Their is much denial everywhere and the term racist is used by all to chill opinion. But there is common sense in every one as well. Harry’s Place is a new labour site that is in a turmoil of angst, buyers remorse and die hard socialist dreamery. Cranmer is a conservative site and seems slightly saner yet on all political sites there is open admission of the reluctance to speak freely because of the need to go after the sweet blocks of Muslim voters to be gained. No one/rarely someone openly speaks of fear of the Muslims but you can sense the unease and unreality of it for them. It aint over til the fat lady beheads the queen as they say. But there won’t be a fully peaceful resolution to scouring the shire.

I remind you of the posted article on Hot Air about sharia loans? If you are a Minnesota taxpayer, you are paying the mortgages and taking the risk for Muslims to get interest-free, state guaranteed mortgages.
In Minneapolis, we brought about 70,000 refugees here and their kids are now US citizens. The FBI is watching them now as 20 young adults (those teenage citizens of the refugees) disappeared last year and one of them turned up a suicide bomber.
In other words, it can happen here. I doubt returning soldiers from Iraq or Afghanistan will be parading through Minneapolis.

I agree that some of the criticism here may be a bit unfair. We consider our Brit cousins and the UK to be a significant part of our world and fret about the appearence of an overabundance of tolerance in the name of political correctness by your leaders. We would like to again see the UK of Churchill and Thatcher rather than Blair and Brown. We may be in process of getting a dose of the same thing here.
At any rate, we do wish you well,..perhaps you might look on our carping as brother to brother, rather than as entirely unrelated countries. I don’t say that lightly.

I am talking about the serious problems with irish terrorist groups not muslim’s .
As it stands now I.R.A and spin off’s have killed more British and irish people then al-qaeda.
There is palpable fear of a return to those dark times.It is like having flashbacks and those images that we have tried to forget are back.
We supported you on 9/11,’shoulder to shoulder’.You all seemed to just ignore these important events over the last few days and what effect it has had.
Instead choosing to focus on the belief that our country has gone to the dogs and the usual insults.
The I.R.A has always had friends in the White House,that was one of the problems.

Your country is dead. You need to move out of the denial stage and into acceptance. The sooner you do that the better you’ll feel.

Why are we giving them a choice? This is our country, our civilization, and it is up to us to protect ourselves. Reforming Islam or trying to make these people like us should not be our concern. If the so-called Muslim moderates want reform then great — but they need to fight for it back in their own countries, not here in the West.
Every non-citizen Muslim should be deported, and any citizen Muslim advocating sharia/jihad, or giving aide and comfort to the West’s enemies, or preaching Koranic hate against infidels should be stripped of their citizenship and deported. And all immigration from Muslim countries should cease immediately. This is the only way to ensure that England and other Western countries aren’t taken over by stealth jihad and, eventually, sharia law.

I think you’re right, BHT, but I also think that such would require a constitutional amendment. Islam should not be treated as a religion; it should be treated as a political ideology which is completely incompatible with our Western law and way of life, and which is at war against us and our Western allies. It is an enemy, and it should be treated as such, not tolerated.

If you are so well informed about my country and it’s history why is no-one addressing the terrorist attack against british troops in northern Ireland.
Is it not terrorism?You should be supporting us.Our troops have died along side yours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
To not even recognise our loss because it doesn’t fit into the ‘muslim terrorists’ situation is pathetic.
