<blockquote>Obama: Leap before you look. </blockquote>

Steve Z: This is all part of the Master Plan: Obama's Great Leap Forward. (with a tip of the hat to Mao, his mentor)

Obama has a lot on his plate right now. He is scrutizing, line by line, all of Bush's signing statements.

This man-child has skewed priorities and a lot of subversiveness to answer for.

<a href="http://www.economist.com/blogs/democracyinamerica/2009/03/so_long_chas_freeman.cfm" rel="nofollow">Chas Freeman's response, as quoted in the economist:
</a>
Some of the text, from Laura Rozen:

    The libels on me and their easily traceable email trails show conclusively that there is a powerful lobby determined to prevent any view other than its own from being aired, still less to factor in American understanding of trends and events in the Middle East. The tactics of the Israel Lobby plumb the depths of dishonor and indecency and include character assassination, selective misquotation, the willful distortion of the record, the fabrication of falsehoods, and an utter disregard for the truth. The aim of this Lobby is control of the policy process through the exercise of a veto over the appointment of people who dispute the wisdom of its views, the substitution of political correctness for analysis, and the exclusion of any and all options for decision by Americans and our government other than those that it favors.

Not a lot of subtlety, there.

[...] Another Obama Nominee Withdraws. Charles Freeman Out The more people found out about Freeman, the worse he got — and not just among conservative critics. His ties to CNOOC, his remarks about the Tiananmen Square protesters, and his support of a national ID after 9/11 painted a strange picture of the man who would run the process of evaulating our intelligence. That, plus the fact that Freeman had no intelligence experience — when the CIA also has a no-experience political fixer running it — doomed Freeman’s appointment. [...]

Officials: Afghanistan Taliban leader was at Gitmo

By PAMELA HESS – 1 hour ago

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Taliban's new top operations officer in southern Afghanistan had been a prisoner at the Guantanamo Bay detention center, the latest example of a freed detainee who took a militant leadership role and a potential complication for the Obama administration's efforts to close the prison. U.S. authorities handed over the detainee to the Afghan government, which in turn released him, according to Pentagon and CIA officials.

Abdullah Ghulam Rasoul, formerly Guantanamo prisoner No. 008, was among 13 Afghan prisoners released to the Afghan government in December 2007. Rasoul is now known as Mullah Abdullah Zakir, a nom de guerre that Pentagon and intelligence officials say is used by a Taliban leader who is in charge of operations against U.S. and Afghan forces in southern Afghanistan.

To think, the MSM keeps telling us Obama is the smartest President eva... I hope the MSM continues to die the slow death they so richly deserve.

At the very, (and note the extent to which I use the word, "very") least, Hillary Clinton had Bubba to draw experience from. She's out of her league as SOS, but she could have passed as POTUS. Can't believe I wrote that. Now I have to go rinse my brain with clorox.
