Didn’t you get the memo? Bush is responsible for the state of the economy a year before, eight years during, and two-to-four years after his Presidency. Just keeping repeating your mantra: “It’s all Bush’s fault.”

You almost got it correct…The memo said: anything perceived as good that happened during the Bush years was a result of democrats, and everything bad from now until 2013 is a result of Pres. Bush.

Ed, that’s exactly the point I was attempting to make in my earlier comment. Just like the left-tards proclaiming “I’m now an American” because their man is in office so too are they all of a sudden interested in constructive criticism and not destructive criticism. Proving without a doubt the left places their ideology above the good of our nation as a whole, the left are nothing more than fair weather Americans and hypocrites…period!

That’s an interesting admission, considering the Left’s vapors over Rush Limbaugh the past few weeks. We sure can. That said, I don’t think Markos could find that line if it were 10 feet tall, covered with glowing LEDs, and sounded like a marching band beset by wolves.

There is a battle being waged for the Republican party. It seems to be between conservatives and pseudo-conservative elitists.
A: The elitists are using the “big tent” argument to call for “inclusion” and “open-mindedness”. This will ultimately destroy the party because it will become, by it’s own hand, a weak sister to the Democrat party and therefore irrelevant.
B: Conservatives, like me, are angered by the “moderate” tilt occurring in the party and consider leaving it to form a true Conservative party. This would hasten A, above.
The end result is that the Democrats would get their wish. The Republican party would cease to exist as an effective entity. I would go so far as to suggest this was their design, but that would be giving them far too much credit. Perhaps the only real solution is to stiffen our resolve, take the party back from the squishies while letting them have a seat at the table (God only knows how that will work) and continue the fight for individual and economic freedom.
Easy, right?

I dont really read DailyKos, but I know a bit about FDL, so I was surprised to read this.

Then I checked to see if it was correct. I quickly learned that it was not.

From the past few weeks:

Criticizing the Obama administration’s position on the Jose Padilla case

Criticizing the Obama admin’s position on marijuana

Criticizing the Obama admin’s position on the al-Haramain case.

Questioning Obama’s Iraq withdrawal plan

Accusing Obama of a bait-and-switch in regards to closing Guantanamo

Pointing out that detainee abuse has risen in the past few months

Again, that’s not an exhaustive list, and it’s just from the past week or two. Firedoglake is not ignoring Obama. Why would you lie about that, Mr. Morrissey? Or did you just assume they were and you didnt bother to check?

Fact we have troops in harms way
Fact our economy is going down the “T” as we speak

Fact: Obama’s number one priority has been “Operation Rushbo”

The constituents want handouts and everyone brought down to their level.

The corporations want to actually produce things and provide jobs.

DKos, Huffpo and MoveOn wouldn’t have mattered one iota if it weren’t for the MSM (including Fox News, in particular Bill O’Reilly) from bringing them up all the time…oh, and Democratic big dogs giving them their time—officially.

Do you remember how the MSM injected Palin rumors into the race?

The reporting would go “It is being reported in the blogs today that…”

The friggin left wing blogs gave them an excuse to cover what they were saying instead of directly supporting it as fact checked reporting.

Right, Like in the cartoon; fade to sunset with growing grass and unicorns playing and butterflies, birds and happiness.
