Does Hotair put trolls on the payroll? Because it seems this site is getting a lot more traffic than Newsweek, and you don't really have to read that much Frump to get the gist of what he's saying.

Here's what Ace of Spades had to say about Frum:

<blockquote>Frum's critique of Limbaugh is that he unnecessarily alienates those we need to persuade -- the moderates and almost-conservatives -- by engaging in gratuitous provocations which are more cathartic than forensic. And yet when it comes to the people Frum first needs to persuade -- the mainstream of the conservative movement -- he engages in precisely the same style of "debate" through invective.

Physician, heal thyself. It's like an insurance salesman trying to sell me on a fixed-rate annuity while sporadically insulting my wife.

This whole controversy is a traffic boost to anyone talking about. It's all anyone wants to talk about, it seems, because it is, ultimately, about personalities, people, scrapes, sniping, emotion and draaaamaa.

You don't need a lot of analysis or heavy intellectualizing to enjoy this debate, or get in on it. Just pick your side and go to town.</blockquote>

Go call him a lemming. He'll rip you a new one worse than I did.

In the time you have spent throwing your insults my way you could have read the article several times. You are afraid of truth and objectivity - I get that loud and clear. Keep the blinders on firmly as you sail over the edge of the cliff with the other lemmings...

So why is it wrong to want an incompetent leader to fail? And why is wrong for anyone to say that's how they feel? Personally I don't see any reason to even argue about Rush's comment. He's entitled to his opinion, right or wrong. It's convenient for everyone who's complaining about this to forget the constant criticism, and worse, aimed at GWB and for that matter most Presidents. Geez this whole thing is just an excuse to argue when the time could be spent discussing far more important matters. Seems to be a typical thing for Allah to do, especially lately. So is it just a matter of needing the hits to the site?

I stand by my initial assessment of you. You <strike>howl at the moon </strike> express outrage because someone <strike>may take the Dear Leader</strike> sensationalized a quote deliberately taken out of context, yet will take one quote from an article and claim you know the entire context. Then you go on to claim that you know what th<strike>e prayers of “real conservatives” </strike> other Hotair comments have been.
Hypocrisy and audacity fit you well.

FIFY

You have failed to elaborate on Frum's article, if you felt that quote did not accurately sum it up, as you have failed in so many of your other ad hominem attacks and weak logic.

Most real conservatives since Obama won the election, those who believe in God and identify as Christians, have been praying for Jesus Christ to change Obama's heart. That is the only thing we can do, besides burn up the switchboards at the Capitol and vote in 2010.

<strong> If it had been phrased that way, nobody could have used Limbaugh’s words to misrepresent conservatives as clueless, indifferent or gleeful in the face of the most painful economic crisis in a generation.</strong>

Really, Bradky, don't you think Frum made his point right there? Anything else you think we might have missed?

For the record, if Rush Limbaugh had minced his words, he would have failed to articulate the point that really rankles with this administration: Barack Obama is a Marxist. Winning an election has not changed that. It has given him what he considers a mandate... <strong>"I won." </strong> But America is still a center right country; the majority of Americans believe in capitalism and personal liberty. As Europe crumbles, that option looks less appealing.

<blockquote>Doesn’t this kind of response qualify as the reaction of a cultist? “I don’t need to read the article because I just know the dear leader Rush is right”

Rush would do well to shed a little weight if he wants to be around for many more years.

Bradky on March 8, 2009 at 1:42 PM</blockquote>

I already said in the previous post why I supported Rush's comment.

<blockquote>I HOPE HE FAILS.

“He” being the indisputably Marxist President we just elected.

The One who just spent a few trillion dollars as a down payment on socialized medicine, on liberal spending programs that Democrats have been after for a decade and nationalizing the auto and banking industries.

“He” who has promised to “make energy prices skyrocket” with his stiff environmental taxes, and is making good on those promises now, even though people are losing jobs and their life savings.

“He” who squandered political capital during an economic crisis, so he could attack a radio personality instead of solving our country’s problems.

“He” who was too “tired” or drunk to properly receive our strongest ally, someone who’s favor he should cultivate as a NATO ally while we’re at war in Afghanistan but who was instead treated like any of “190 other countries,” in the words of a State Dept official who “reacted with fury.” I know I certainly expect a diplomat to react that way first.

I am embarrassed for my country, and I want this President to fail, if he insists on “remaking” America. I don’t share this vision of his, and I never will.

I BELIEVE IN A FREE AMERICA BEFORE I BELIEVE IN OBAMA.</blockquote>

How much of Obama's stimulus was targeted, timely or specific? Yet, these trillions he spent officially make our country financially insolvent. We're in a deflationary cycle. If Obama and the geniuses running our monetary policy, appointed by the President (Geithner, pretty much winging it by himself) don't suck the money back out with perfect timing, we'll have inflation. Maybe even hyperinflation, a total currency collapse.

All you can do is tell fat jokes about a radio show host. How would reading the entire article of Frum's (and I have never agreed with him; I live in Canada and put up with their crap anti-Americanism all the time) elaborate any more on the quote that was already pulled? I don't WANT to click on Newsweek or read more of Frum -- who is not even conservative by Canadian standards -- than I have to.

<blockquote>Truths about <strike>Misocnceptions of </strike>Rush Limbaugh:

1)<strike>That he is </strike>loud and abrasive

Rush would do well to shed a little weight if he wants to be around for many more years.

Ah, the old standby. When you can't refute an argument, insult a physical trait.

Doesn't this kind of response qualify as the reaction of a cultist? "I don't need to read the article because I just know <strike>the dear leader </strike>Rush is right"

David Fruit-of-the-loom? Never heard of him.

As for Rush, he's living proof that we can arbitrarily select (at random) a fat, obnoxious, loud-mouthed, red-neck that is perpetually overdosed on pain pills, give him a microphone with a radio broadcast beacon, and within a matter of days, we can make him look like a certified genius -- when he is compared alongside any of the scum bags in the Obama administration (including the slave trader in chief).

My collie says:
<blockquote>Er...not that there is anything WRONG with fat, obnoxious, loud-mouthed, red-necks, okay?</blockquote>

If this guy wants to see a REAL cult, he's barking up the wrong tree. He should take a hard look at Obama's former pastor and his flock (a.k.a. the Reverend Wright and all those that adhere to black liberation theology).

Get over your jealousy Allahpundit.

Rush has clarity about conservatism and he expresses it perfectly.

Since he is also an entertainer, he does not speak as a politician would speak.

We like the humor.

Get over it or THIS site will lose it's audience.
