Video: Stewart rips an absent Santelli

Honestly, the one firm media rule that every pundit should have tattooed on their hands is this: Don’t stand up popular TV hosts. After bailing out of the Daily Show, Jon Stewart has a field day with Santelli in this longish segment. He especially lights up Santelli’s network, CNBC, for their prognosticating peccadilloes:

Blowback

Don’t blame Jon. It’s the millions of idiots out there that have put him (and Colbert…and Obama come to think of it) where he is.

Without an audience for validation the class clown is a sullen and pathetic loser contemplating suicide.

I’m willing to go on TV and play victim if I ever get the chance to ask the Messiah a question about his idiotic policies, like his stupid McMansion bailout. I’m all for someone asking him something like that at one of his idiotic pep rallies.

Of course, if I ever get the chance, it’s likely you and your Kos buddies will try to eviserate me ala Joe the Plumber. Of course, you won’t find anything, not even any moving violations. But in that scenario, I get to go on TV and cry about how some mean Internet people are trying to ruin my life. I’m very cute and look like I’m eighteen, so pray tell me who do you think would be the winner in that situation… Of course, this will likely never happen but it is a fun fantasy for y’all Obama cultists to ponder between your sips of Kool Aid. I hate to tell you that not all Conservatives can be smeared as stupid hillbillies.

Well played. Because I thought your desire to go on TV and play the victim makes you pathetic, you decided I *MUST* be a visitor from DailyKos.

If anything, you proved yourself to be quite the stupid hillbilly.

While I enjoy watching the Daly Show and Colbert Report for their ability to spoof the news, I only have one question.

Would you really buy and insurance policy or a car from a person who does not know where the ‘H’ should go in his name, or does he just ignore it because it is easier than wasting the pen stroke(s).
