Sure. Often people who don’t like Rush haven’t listened to him, but have instead allowed the media to define him for themselves.
Just wondered if that’s your thing, or if you had a more tangible reason.

Who’s we? I like Rush, and have few disagreements with him. I merely recognize that his position is largely different than an actual member of the GOP, and therefore he accomplishes different results and objectives.
Now, Allah just hates Rush because, in reality, Allah is Mr. Snerdley.

Okay, thanks. I don’t keep a record of comments I read and who makes them, so I wasn’t aware that this had been hashed out already.
It just seems to me that if you’re going to speak negatively about Rush Limbaugh on a conservative forum, you might want to be prepared to explain what it is you don’t like about him…in more than general terms, I mean.
Otherwise, it just sounds like the media formed your opinion for you.

Hi Rush!!!!!!!!!! (I have to believe he might be scanning the comments in his thread). I have been a listener since early 1992 out in KFI Land. I am trying to encourage him to write a book on why socialism is the wrong way to go here. (I sent him a message in his 247 section of his website, but i bet he gets thousands of emails a day). He really opened my eyes with his first book, “The way things ought to be”.

It has more to do with many of us “loving” that he stands for something and backs it up with facts, reason and logic. His popularity comes from his convictions and principles–conveyed sometimes with urgency and other times with humor.
He brushes off the Bertram Scudders of the world without even knowing they were there.
And most of us know to chuckle when he grand stands. I think we are smart enough to know what he really means.

I fully understand that. She had two choices sent to her by the committee: Christen or Smith. She chose the pro-choice Christen over the pro-life Smith. Regardless of why she went with the pro-choice one, it’s still sad and a very odd system.
