Video: Cramer goes nuclear on Obama, White House rips Cramer
posted at 5:47 pm on March 3, 2009 by Allahpundit
I think he’s worked up here but I can’t tell for sure: Much like Glenn Beck, because his default state is one of unnerving intensity, it’s hard to tell when he feels passionately about something from when he’s behaving normally. But here he is on last night’s show, teetering between Hayekian wisdom and madness in laying blame for the Dow’s downturn at the feet of Zeus’s Olympian throne. These aren’t the comments that caused Gibbs to take a shot at him at today’s White House presser, incidentally; those came on the Today show this morning, but were really just a precis of his longer argument here. Follow the link to TV Newser for the vid and Gibbs’s reaction (which, in fairness, isn’t inaccurate). Exit quotation from Cramer: “This is the greatest wealth destruction I’ve seen by a president.”

You can carry a hundred grand of gold coins in your pocket and those struck by the US mint are the easy to convert.

Cramer will return to bootlicking Obastard shortly. He prefers the Hilton, not the Hope And Change Reeducation Camp. He hasn’t even the balls to stand up to a hamster like Gibbs, when push comes to shove. And as others have noted, he is a pure Dummycrat, and cannot survive without their blessing.

Cramer just told you to buy the Canadian coins. sven’s right. Expect the 401ks, IRAs and gold to be seized and paid in (worthless)treasuries soon. JMHO

perhaps, but I am reminded of what an elderly German I once gave a tour of a Museum to told me when I asked what happened when the Nazi gun control inspections ran into “I don’t have the guns your records say I do….”
“they smiled and shot them”
sven10077 on March 3, 2009 at 6:44 PM
I missed the Canadian coin comment. Why did he says those? Was it a transaction cost issue or was it because of the alleged wait with the US mint?

Nothing will change until we get ourselves an angry, plus-size, finger-waggin’ black woman.

It is DAY 42,and confidence is nowhere in sight,
and Obama Chaos,is still reining in doom for America!
———————————————
It looks like everything will come to a head as soon as
Obama, and political friends, mold American ‘To Their liking’!
Give it a few more months, and Obama will have the American
Dream, that Obama wants,or the America he has envisioned, all
through his life!!
What ever it takes,at Obama’s age,and his political friends
aren’t happy in their lives, and so,they will remake America to suit them, and make changes that will make America more to
their likeing!
Has anyone asked Obama prior to being President,if America
was to his likeing,or does Obama thinks a few changes are in order,
like Michelle said,”For the first time in my adult life”!!

Cramer’s position is entirely straightforward and reasonable, even for a liberal: He thinks that a lot of the liberal things Obama advocates would be nice, if the economy were strong enough to bear their implementation. The economy isn’t just weak now, it’s profoundly, dangerously unstable. It can’t both recover and simultaneously be hammered by the implementation of radical, staggeringly expensive liberal ideas, many of which would challenge the economy even at its strongest. It’s a simple case of Obama wishing to have his cake and eat it, too. I can see it, Cramer see it, I’m guessing everyone here can see it, and hopefully enough Americans will see it, too, before there isn’t any America left at all.

You grasp the joke but may be unaware that this show is an homage or a remake…in fact in many ways word for word of the FDR response matrix to the Great Depression….
FDR and friends were accused by the very same Wall Street Journal of the ’30s with being more concerned with “reform”(and not in the regulatory sense but in the let’s make things fair sense) than recovery…..

I have been buying Krugerrands myself. Canadian Gold Maples are .9999 pure, but scratch easily given the high gold content. Krugerrrands are 22k, more durable and still contain 1 troy once of pure gold.
The only two things I’ve been investing in since Obama took office is Krugerrands and SarahPAC. Thousands of $ in each, in fact.
I expect a healthy return on both investments.

1-Cramer, well I felt like I was back in college with a non-stop all over the place professor. Buttons, knocks are weird but my kids would like to play with them.
2-Gibbs is Peter Griffin in a costume. What is pathetic, he isn’t even funny.
3-Glenn Beck-I have watched him for a while, before Fox…those who have been fans for a long time, have been saying that he has accurately predicted many problems that have happened. NOW I can tell you that to me, he is a sensitive, as in psychic. He is gifted and talented, but perhaps (theory) conflicted about what is going on and knowing how bad it’s getting and the sense of powerlessness is what is provoking this behavior. Bear with me I am not a psychologist.
4-Obama can KMA anytime and he is not worth to even shave my dog’s _____________.
5-Alan Colmes is starting to see the Light?

Has any other administration ever attacked private citizens for speaking their mind? I know talking heads have attacked citizens for talking but this is the actual administration attacking citizens. Joe the Plumber (not actually the administration but people in power did), the guy on the stock market floor, Rush and now this Cramer.
Again, this is The Administration attacking citizens for speaking their minds. That should be being screamed from the rooftops.

Can you please tell me what form of organizing human labor has led to higher living standards than the corporate form? People need to cooperate in order to achieve certain objectives, but they need to compete in order to avoid stagnation. The corporation, in the context of a society with anti-monopoly laws, enables both.
Your anger at corporations would be better utilized turned inward to improve yourself because it sounds like your neither a good cooperator nor a good competitor.
venividivici on March 3, 2009 at 8:44 PM
There’s nothing wrong with corporations, you twat!
Only a Commie idiot like you could see the market tanking and a rout on Wall Street and think it’s a good thing.
To Leftist morons, it’s a sign that evil corporations are finally getting the comeuppance they deserve and that is has nothing to do with ordinary folks on Main Street.

Morbid curiosity has driven me to watch Hardball to see if there are any cracks in the armor yet. Jim Cramer was on Hardball tonight. Matthews had Harold Ford I am sure as back up for him that Cramer was mistaken. Harold Ford was pretty much in agreement with Cramer. Matthews was still in heavy denial. It was like an alcoholic intervention, not that Matthews would know anything about one of those. Also worth note was exchange between Tom DeLay and Matthews over Bush’s responsibility in the current financial fiasco.

At least he could be honest that Obama needs to act and was willing to say it on Hardball of all places. At this point I almost feel as though any Dem besides Obama would have been better, well maybe not Pelosi would be tough to take. While Americans are losing their 401K’s at alarming speed, Obama’s pretense that it is a poll is downright scary.

I guess Cramer’s Wall Street friends are hurting again. Sure Cramer, you don’t want the Plunge Protection Team to crank up the bubble machine again. You just wish things were back the way they were under Clinton and Bush. Where the investment bankers could run to Washington to get the Fed, SEC, and Treasury to perform their voodoo magic. The same magic that got us into this mess. Sorry folks, but the credit bubble has to burst before things can eventually get better. Cramer and his pals can pound sand.

My parent’s 401k’s have vanished. My mother’s pension is GONE. My parent’s will be relying on ME now for their support. I’m a college student. This government is systematically destroying wealth. I’m going f*cking balls to the wall crazy because of this. My parents and I have lived on the mantra that ‘if you work hard, you’ll be rewarded for that hard work. If you save and invest, you’ll be rewarded for it.’ The world is now upside down. My parents have been proven wrong, and to our sadness, we’re not sure how to fix this.

I “feel it” when I talk other small businessmen who were completely ignored in Obama’s “stimulus plan.” Who are looking at higher energy rates if Obama gets his way, and higher payroll taxes to shrink their already low profit margin as customers, afraid to spend their money, stay away in droves.
Do you want to help us Mr. Obama? Cut the payroll taxes. Cut the small business tax. Today. But, honestly, looking at the “stimulus” I can clearly see that small businesses aren’t part of your plan.

There is no compromise in the Soros driven lefts agenda.
Though he has been relatively content to hide in the dark shadows Soros’ egomania will soon drive him into the spotlight to claim his victory over the Constitution.
Soros, Obama and the lefts millions of mouth breathing slack jawed blood thirsty goons will find happiness and victory in creating and sustaining misery for all of us.

I believe this to be true also…
I keep having this vision of a reverse “star chamber” where instead of a court being set up to ensure the fair enforcement of laws against powerful people, it’s a trial against ordinary people held in secret, with no indictments, no right of appeal, no juries, and no witnesses

Im sorry about your parents plight. It is the same for members of my family. Unfortunately for your generation instead of finishing college, starting a career where you can display your talents and reach for the stars, get married, settle down, start a family, you are the inheritors of an evil that has plagued the world forever it seems.
Before Soros and Baracko et al, you were destined to live a good life and grow old in the best country the world has ever seen. Now you are going to have to fight with us to save it. Or not. But I hope after you have time to reflect that you will fight.
Fighting is our only hope to save ourselves and our nation from such evil.

These are all people who wear Obama paraphenalia and have drinken his koolaid.

Take heart. In my 20s I would probably have qualified as a leftist. There was no alternative political view being expressed on campus, and most people are shallow (if opinionated) at that age. Argue (nicely) with them, you’ll be surprised how many minds you can change, even if it isn’t immediately obvious. The lefties were all over my college (in the union etc) but most people just agreed with them for a quiet life, not any real conviction.
