Brand Obama: New government stamp for stimulus projects coincidentally looks like “O”

I’m being cynical in thinking The One would stoop to something so vulgar as a permanent campaign, aren’t I? Oh dear.
In remarks at the Department of Transportation this morning, Mr. Obama referenced the new emblems.
“We’re also making it easier for Americans to see what projects are being funded with their money as part of our recovery. So in the weeks to come, the signs denoting these projects are going to bear the new emblem of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act,” Obama said. “These emblems are symbols of our commitment to you, the American people — a commitment to investing your tax dollars wisely, to put Americans to work doing the work that needs to be done. So when you see them on projects that your tax dollars made possible, let it be a reminder that our government — your government — is doing its part to put the economy back on the road of recovery.”
This is sort of like Bush launching a new government employment program and labeling it the WPA. Verdict: Cooler than the Obama seal, not as cool as the official Obama-cult secret handshake, which really should have been incorporated into the design. And with that, I yield the floor to the many photoshoppers who are reading this and just rarin’ to go. If we get any good ones, I’ll update.

I already have an idea how this is going to go- even if the “stimulus” only provided a small fraction of the money for a project, it’s going to get an “O” label. To get federal funding approved, every road, bridge and outhouse built or repaired with so much as a dollar of federal funds will have to display the symbol.

What REALLY ticks me off about this is that his “open government website where you track how we’re spending your money” applies ONLY to stuff in the recovery bill.
There is NO website for his real socialist budget containing all the earmarks.

This is what you find in third world countries! The portrait of “the one” would have raised eyebrows, so they decide to go with an emblem. In dictatorships, you find portraits and images of their “beloved leaders” all over. Buildings, roads, schools etc. are named after dictators…Kim Jong Ill, Robert Mugabe, Idi Amin… when you see this “O” emblem, you are supposed to think that if it were not for the messiah, you wouldn’t have that road, building, or project going on! It is sick!
The messiah is also demarcating what will soon belong to the government. The signs will be all over banks, roads, bridges…you name it! Hey, why don’t we just change the GM, Chrysler, and the Ford Emblems into the stupid “O” insignia because that is where we are headed. While you are at, don’t forget a giant O for AIG.

Well I will give you a heads up because I KNOW that this is what is gonna happen…it happened in Puerto Rico.
This biyatch of ex governor, Sila Maria Calderon, proposed a staggering one hundred million dollars for projects for “special communities”….know where I am getting at right?
Truth is, signs were plastered all over the island; many of these projects started at snail’s pace, tons of them nothing whatsoever.
So we got to the conclusion that the hundreds of thousands of dollars, went to just to put the sign in place; this in turn, brought DOWN the house prices on the surroundings, precisely because THOSE SIGNS WERE PUT NEAR MIDDLE CLASS FOLKS DEVELOPMENTS.
So my prediction is: Money will disappear like Houdini, and tons of these signs will be all over the place as pre-indoctrination process but little work will be accomplished. Wherever the O places these signs, it will devalue the value of whatever property is nearby. If I am not mistaken, in those areas where governors and mayors have their own logos, then we will see a two by two thing going on.
Friendly advice: Watch if these logos are gonna be found in lower class communities. Thank my lucky stars my city does not appear in that website but if I find that logo where I live, hell must be raised.

Probably been mentioned already, but if you look at the symbol, and take the stars in the blue field to represent Americans, true-blue Americans, sure looks like a shredder-composter to me…just follow the natural eye flow from upper left to lower right and to lower left…
What ever happened to the Bald Eagle, or the American Flag on US Government emblems?
You know, evoking strength, character, tradition, history?
These new Obamaesque symbols, all of them, seem to evoke, what else? Obama. And a need to spread sweetness across the land, so as to cover up the terrible things being done, or terrible things to come.
