I missed posting my final interview at CPAC on Saturday with Michael Koolidge, radio host from the Chicago area and a man who followed Barack Obama much more closely than the national media ever did. Michael didn’t do his broadcasts from CPAC this year, preferring to concentrate instead on podcasting ad hoc instead. We discuss the future of talk radio, conservatism, and give our assessment of CPAC as it began winding down on Saturday afternoon:
I’ll appear on Michael’s show tomorrow in a taped interview that we’ll record in the morning. Michael’s show airs live between 5-6 pm CT on WHRL weekdays, and from 6-7 pm weekdays and 11-noon Saturdays on WLBK.

Big Ditto Ed!
While
manysome here might have seen all your CPAC work as a “distraction”, those of us that understand the necessity for this process applaud your commitment and loyalty to the cause.Rov

I find it strange that on a conservative blog site, there is no mention of the Tea Parties that took place last Friday all across the nation. All mention has been scrubbed from the current posts. I find it strange that their are umpteen CPAC interviews there, some with folks hardly any of us have heard of. While I appreciate the CPAC coverage in general, I am frustrated by the dissing by HA of the Tea Parties (even when you had one post on it), so I will bring you an excerpt from the boss (Michelle) in her post entitled The Tea Party bashers: Clueless, bitter, and wrapped in tinfoil
Michelle Malkin
Sorry for such a long quote, and I know AP will just say read it on her site, but folks, why is HA dissing the boss?
Christian Conservative on March 2, 2009 at 12:21 PM
I think I know what the boss thinks a lot more than you do, and we’re not dissing her, nor does she thinks we are. You can read that on her site. She’s obviously a lot closer to it than we are.

Enough with the CPAC vids already. A good time was had by all. Grokked and stipulated. Now lets MoveOn.org

You’re right, Ed. She says in her CSPAN interview that her two web sites are covering the Tea Parties, but guess you/she thinks it’s old news now, right? (Since I’m not currently seeing one post.) I’m glad she’s OK with it. Just wanted to register that, as I, as one of the little people out here, am not.

Oh, and Ed, AP’s diving into the comments from the Tea Party post and bringing up a detracting comment to put in his UPDATE:
I’m sorry I read that as a diss. I guess that was just his way of sounding support.
Christian Conservative on March 2, 2009 at 12:53 PM
Then why don’t you go comment over there and stay on topic? Is this brain surgery for you?
Ed Morrissey on March 2, 2009 at 12:59 PM
Please let me know when she is opening registration. Thanks.
Christian Conservative on March 2, 2009 at 1:02 PM
Since you seem to have the ability to read her mind, you’ll know about it before I do. Just keep an eye open over there and you’ll see when registration opens. In the meantime, if you have an opinion about Allahpundit’s post, put it in that thread.

Ed, you will note that many did at the time including myself. The problem is that in spite of Michelle being all over the internet on video and interviews supporting the Tea Parties today and rebutting objections, there is not one post here except in the archives from three days ago. It’s like you saying that since CPAC ended Saturday, then all your CPAC posts should come down today. I’m sorry I’m not making sense to you, must be the brain surgery I need.
Christian Conservative on March 2, 2009 at 1:17 PM
No, I’m telling you to stay on topic, or get banned. If you want to comment on AP’s tea-party post, then comment on that thread, not other threads. That’s what seems to elude you.

Great work at CPAC. I love the variety of interviews available. Ed needs to consult Coach Bob Knight on tweaking out the wardrobe, however.
