Left NJ 25 years ago after graduating high school to come to the much more palatable lifestyle of the South. Went back three months ago for my 25th High School Reunion in North Western part of the state. This was when election time was closing in and “the one” fever was running high. I was quite impressed by the number of McCain/Palin bumper stickers and yard signs I saw compared to what I suspected. Talking to several of my old classmates that still live in that part of the state, it seems that they “still got it” as to the dark path the libs/socialists/dims were leading this country. I was guardedly optimistic. Though the car ride from Newark up to West Milford was difficult considering all the bumper stickers for the Messiah that I saw. Not nearly that much Obamamania in this small, country Atlanta suburb I still live in. This video makes me still think there may be hope for my home state. And if that’s true, maybe the country as a whole.

Christie is a prosecutor who has done nothing of economic value. Lonegan is the real deal with an MBA not a law degree who has run a successful private business and been a successful mayor. Oh man do we need Lonegan.

NJ has been very liberal, very blue and Trenton very corrupt for a long time. Sorry to say, but Lonegan doesn’t stand a chance. As far as I’m concerned, Corzine doesn’t give a s*** for this state, so I will be one of many leaving NJ this year with my family.

Sorry, but Lonegan would get thrashed by Corzine. Christie has a chance and has decent positions. While I’m more aligned with Lonegan on the issues, I’d have to go with Christie.
