I’m not really surrounded by too many liberals, (although I’ve had to deal with that in the past), I’m surrounded by people who know nothing at all of the government, current administration, what they are doing, what they plan to do, what they want to do…I really don’t know which is worse.

I doubt the height difference between a 20 rd 30 rd or drum mag will be deciding factor on weather you live or die, but if it’s a problem:

Low Prone (AKA side prone): This is basically lying on your side with your rifle extended perpendicular to your body. The low prone is useful when an opening in cover is extremely low, as in the opening underneath a car. With this type of cover it is a very well protected position, though the discomfort makes it less stable. I would suggest you try shooting (even at home dry firing) this way a few times, both left and right handed. The first time is a pain, but once you get the hang of it isn’t very hard.

the SKS D and SKS M take AK mags, but to use the drums I had to put on a plastic stock and cut away around the mag well.
