Can you imagine the gall of these people?!? We come up with a plan to TAKE the money first, THEN we’ll work out the details on how to implement our spending?!?!?

Dear farking God, what in hell is going on here? Can you even imagine running your household this way? I can just see me telling my wife that I’m going to go give some contractor $20,000 to do some job that we haven’t decided what to do yet.

These people in Congress and the Executive branch obviously DO NOT understand their role in government. Next week, perhaps they will present a bill for 200 billion to determine how Americans will wipe their asses in the future, because we all *need* that to do that too, and obviously the government has to help us figure that out.

Ok he wants to make more money by “trimming tax breaks for the wealthy”, which means the ‘wealthy’ will just start investing off-shore more than they do already. Good job! We do need to spur on the Bahamas, Grand Caymen and Dubai. Even Mitt Romney does that and can’t understand why he can’t tax folks on money that isn’t in the US. Ahh, the subtlety of driving the economy down.

The problem is that the Patriot Act works both ways.

Never mind that some of these tax havens are quite small and very vulnerable to an “incident”.

Last week Obama signs the biggest government spending bill in the history of the world. It’s loaded with wasteful spending and political payoffs.

This Monday Obama holds a “fiscal responsibility” summit at the White House.

Tuesday he gives a speech and says “it’s not because I like big government – I don’t.” (He actually, believe it or not, said this with a straight face).

Wednesday he asks for $634 billion for a down payment on health care reform. He will also be signing the $410 billion omnibus bill loaded with earmarks.

Are we living on the same planet? Do words have the same meaning anymore? Could one (just one) reporter ask him about these inconsistencies?

A senior administration official says Obama’s budget calls for financing the overhaul by trimming health care for the elderly spending and limiting tax deductions for upper-income earners. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the budget will be released until Thursday.

For example, experts have identified hospital readmissions — especially for elderly patients — as a sign of inadequate care and unnecessary expense. About 18 percent of Medicare patients are readmitted to the hospital within 30 days of their original visit. The new approach would establish flat fees for the first hospitalization and 30-day follow-up. Hospitals with high readmission rates would be paid less.

In other words, they’re going to throttle back care for the elderly. Screw you, greatest generation! Pass the soylent green!

But I don’t feel too sorry for the Baby Boomers, who have in large part raised the spoiled, entitled generation who’s making these decisions to knock off Mom and Dad now that they’re getting inconvenient. Sow, reap, etc.
