Video: Reason TV salutes noted moron turned stimulus czar

posted at 8:00 pm on February 24, 2009 by Allahpundit

A palate cleanser to put you in the right frame of mind for tonight’s pep talk from Zeus. It’s not even the humor that impresses me; it’s the efficiency of it. How did they shoehorn so many of Greasy Joe’s embarrassments into 60 seconds? It’s nearly miraculous.

Stay tuned for the director’s cut after the stimulus rollout gets going. Content warning for one stray profanity.

Might want a content warning on that. “You’re talking crazy as all sh*t.”

“Stand up, Chuck! Let ‘em see ya! Oh, God luv ya, what am I talking about….”

I just love that.

Robert_Paulson on February 24, 2009 at 7:46 PM

They forgot (a) “we expelled Hezbollah from Lebanon” (b) “30% chance we’ll fail” and (c) “they’ll test Obama’s inexperience”- and those are just the ones that immediately come to mind

Ever heard of Plato, Joe Biden, Socrates?

Morons.

austinnelly on February 24, 2009 at 8:04 PM

I like how three of us commented before the post event went up. :-)

amerpundit on February 24, 2009 at 8:05 PM

“Hey, hold up there old buddy”
Dummy Biden was Obama’s first big decision. Bad sign for things to come. Biden may be the first VP since Spiro Agnew to step down.

RobCon on February 24, 2009 at 8:05 PM

funny as hell

The Wall on February 24, 2009 at 8:05 PM

the cry of Joe in the middle, like don’t do it, is the best. All we needed to add was Roosevelt Tv chats when the great depression started.

Gracelynn on February 24, 2009 at 8:07 PM

Well, when the next four years are done it’s going to be a much, much longer video.

Sweeeeet. Love the screencap too.

Such a dolt, bless his heart.

tru2tx on February 24, 2009 at 8:07 PM

What was so intriguing about Biden to The One (or Zeus)?

It’s like Obama won the election in spite of Biden, not because he helped.

“Ow! My freaking ears!”

Well, easy for me to joke about; I don’t have to worry about kids overhearing.

frankj on February 24, 2009 at 8:08 PM

Oh my science that guy is such a joke, till the day die i won’t understand why Obama picked, the chaps a liability in every respect… he’s even an idiot in his supposed field of expertise foreign policy.

Equanim1ty found on February 24, 2009 at 8:09 PM

Selecting Biden as his running mate (has he paid all his taxes) sort of set the trend for Obamas future selections. Primary prerequist is that you have to be dumb and dishonesty.

It’s not even the kids I worry about; I tend not to censor my language too much. But it’s only 5PM on the West coast and HA has readers around the world. People may still be at work.

BuckeyeSam on February 24, 2009 at 8:25 PM

Stimulus is on aisle 5.

Limerick on February 24, 2009 at 8:28 PM

Are you kidding me? I just figured out that Obama is chewing up another hour of prime time t.v. tonight. I knew he was speaking, but I didn’t realize that he would, once again, be commandeer the all the major networks. The stimulus passed already, what does he want now?

Dead Hand Control on February 24, 2009 at 8:30 PM

Every time I fantasize about Ogabe being tarred and feathered and run out of town, I remember who would take his place.

Then I imagine both of the White House clowns thrown into Gitmo and I realize who is third in line.

Sure it is, because rich pukes have money trees growing in their yards and their lawns are made of pure gold; that’s why they will be taxed to pay for everything.

So obvious even a deaf man could see it.

I’m totally convinced that Biden, as a kid, used to have to wear a safety helmet, ride the short bus, and have notes pinned to his shirt so that he didn’t lose them on his way home.

Can you say, I-D-I-O-T ?

madmonkphotog on February 24, 2009 at 8:42 PM

I’d like to put Plugs and Dubya together for a all-star 90-minute gaffetastic special.

My fortune would be made.

This ends up being decent solid single that could have been…with a bit more effort…a three run triple off the Green Monster.

I never did understand how that ticket could bring itself to criticize McCain for his VP pick. … and the sad thing was that some on our side bought into the premise instead of ridiculing the accusation.

What happened: Left said, “With such an inexperienced VP selection, McCain has given up the ability to criticize the Democrat candidate’s experience” Right said, “She is an experienced governor and has held other offices in Alaska, she’s qualified”

What should have happened: Left said, “With such an inexperienced VP selection, McCain has given up the ability to criticize the Democrat candidate’s experience” The Right should have said, “You’re frickin’ kidding us, right? The top of *your* ticket has zero experience as a leader, has sponsored and overseen the passage of zero significant bills, you’ve picked a plagiarist and the dumbest man in the Senate (several of your Democrat women exceed his lack of intelligence, but that’s a different issue) as your VP pick and you have the NERVE to say that we’ve given up the right to criticize *THAT* just because our Veep pick is only the governor of a state? You Democrats are out of your minds!”

AZfederalist on February 24, 2009 at 10:03 PM

They missed a good one, though I don’t guess there’s video or audio for this one. Shame:

“Seems to me this would be a good time to send, no strings attached, a check for $200 million to Iran,” Biden declares. He surveys the table with raised eyebrows, a How do ya like that? look on his face.

Economic Stimulus Czar who has NEVER run a business, written a payroll check, managed a budget???? What could POSSIBLY go wrong? Either 1. These fools don’t understand taxes and economics, or 2. They are intentionally running down businesses, employment, and the economy. Has to be one or the other, and both are verrrrrrry bad.

marklmail on February 25, 2009 at 8:29 AM

I wouldn’t put Biden in charge of a two car parade. Clearly Obama has no give-a-rat’s-butt level of interest in making sure the trillions are spent wisely. Otherwise he would have put the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz in charge of the audit team instead of that doofus vice president he has. And that porky, tough guy GS 13 IG from the Interior Department who is going to do Binden’s heavy lifting? This guy looks like some party aparachik from the politburo who looks like a greasy Philly Cheesesteak heart attack in waiting.
