There is truth to that, however, even though they might be in the minority of Democrats, there are a few that seem honest.

Rep Kaptur (D) of Ohio seems to be decent and honest, wrong in many ways, but still realistic. For example, she is one of the Dems who voted against the first bail out when it failed, back before the election. Maybe I’ve been fooled, but she has always come across as reasonable whenever I watch C-span.

(Yes I’m one of the 18 people who watch C-span regularly)

The problem as I see it is that coming from the Chicago sludge taints your perceptions of what is good and honest.

i.e. Roland Burris probably believes he did nothing inappropriate because by Chicago Democrat standards he was angelic. Inappropriate by the rest of the world standards remains to be determined as events come to light.

Obama could still choose better.

What strikes me as remarkable is that nobody, Democrat or Republican, has mentioned that President Clinton faced similar problems, but President Bush did not.

There is a difference between the two parties.

Seriously, the Democrat platform is based on stealing from others. Why are we shocked that the people enacting the platform skim a little off the top before sending on their loot to the special interest groups that get them elected?

Well, with a current batting average of 1.000, I’d say a criminal is in charge of vetting the criminals.

I’m learning a lot about what not to do in public office if you want to avoid even the appearance of impropriety (which, of course, Locke’s shinanigans go waaaay beyond).

Kind of sad about March Fong Eu playing the race card too with respect to screening Locke’s relationship with Huang. I had respect for her until I read that. After reading Michelle’s article, I googled “March Fong Eu” “John Huang” and came up with this; I’m wondering if that’s why she withdrew from the Governor’s race a few years back?
