Mom to Octomom: Um, why didn’t you donate the frozen embryos?

For the second time in two hours, I’m dumbfounded. Bear in mind that the Octomom’s already sufficiently infamous for her freeloading as to be drawing hecklers at local gas stations. A normal person in those circumstances might want to lie low for awhile — emphasis on “a normal person.” I’m not sure what’s odder about this, the fact that she and her mother are willing to fight on camera or that they’re willing to do it for Radar when more prominent gossip outlets, like “Entertainment Tonight,” doubtless would have paid through the nose for the footage. If you’re going to run a freak show, you might as well charge admission.

The octomom is an only child, and is probably very spoiled, and has very likely behaved like this with her mother since she was 6 years old, and goten away with it.
The octo grandma doesn’t strike anyone as intelligent enough. The mom is a manipulative psycho case. The old lady is just naive.
What a national and global circus.
Bill Handel said this morning that some Gloria Allred represented charity group is offering 12 helpers per day, plus lots of funds, to take care of the kids. He didn’t say that this would happen while the actual mom goes to Nordstrom, to have her nails done, or to appear on more TV circuses.
The grandma, if she were capable, would just declare the daughter insane and have the kids placed in good homes.
No matter what, one has to feel for the kids’ future.

Just think. This woman is going to be legally responsible for rearing 14 children, teaching them about life, and instilling a sense of honor, decency and work ethic into them.
I *really* think the State of California needs to intervene right now, declare her nuttier than a fruitcake, give the bitch a hysterectomy, and put the children under some kind of 24/7 supervision where they’re not at the tender mercies of Faux Jolie.

Botox paralyzes the site where it’s injected (to keep wrinkles from forming). She most likely has had collagen or some other filler, like Restalayne, injected in her lips.
But if there ever was a woman in need of botoxed lips, it’s this gal; maybe that would finally shut her mouth. What a selfish, narcissistic loser she is. I feel very sorry for her kids.

My husband and I are both only children, but I am very glad neither of us were spoiled. We decided to have a large family (4 kids), and wanted to have them responsibly.
This woman is shallow, self-absorbed, and a loon. She personifies every negative stereotype about only children and this generation… and seems to revel in it. Get a job, and go away!

Let the punishment fit the crime. If her own children are too premature, the State of California should send this woman to a maternity ward and force her to bottle-feed and change diapers of 14 babies all alone for two years, as payment for its support of “her” children.
Then she can get on talk shows and blab about how full of $h!+ she is.

A lot of people suspect Nadya Suleman has some sort of Axis II personality disorder, I know I do.
This interview tape would seem to back up that opinion. She doesn’t seem to have much insight or empathy.
She is a bit of a bully. Very manipulative….but more telling is this statement :
“I couldn’t even fathom the idea of having my own children out in the world” without knowing them…”, “Who would do that!”she says, with some indignance.
Oh I don’t know, Ms Suleman…perhaps a SPERM DONOR?

She uses a similar “IT WAS NOW, OR NEVER!!!” ploy on her mother to justify risking a high-order multiple pregnancy, claiming that she was facing premature ovarian failure.
That’s suspect on its face, even if she hadn’t used that stratagem to manipulate others before in a similar way.
That’s because premature ovarian failure will not prevent a woman from successfully using embryos created in her 20′s. Women into their 60”s, post menopausal women, have had perfectly successful IVF pregnancies. THAT would not prevent her using her frozen embryos over several cycles. (The fetus produces and regulates the hormones needed to sustain pregnancy.) SO she lies or misunderstands about the need to use all her embryos NOW or have them lose their chance at being born.
Premature ovarian failure would interfere with harvesting of an adequate number of good-quality eggs in future IVF cycles.

Jesus, that reminds me of every argument between my sister and my mom when my sister was aged 16-23. This Nadya is completely self-involved, she clearly has no idea of the what goes on in the world outside of her own desires. Like SarahW said, no empathy. “I’ve made this decision and you can’t change it so you have to accept these children that you’re related to and help me raise them.”
Grandma should abandon her daughter. Once your child is an adult, you’re under no obligation to support them, or their 14 bastard offspring.
