Great news: Obama names Biden stimulus czar

Skip ahead to 4:05. Just what a jittery America needs to restore confidence in the feds’ bailout management. Worried that Greasy Joe suddenly has an $800 billion line of credit and zero executive experience? Don’t be. The Obama business brain trust is right there behind him, willing and able to lend a hand.
If you want to congratulate The One on his master stroke, the Recovery.gov website is now accepting reader feedback. Exit question: Which is most reassuring — Biden heading up the stimulus, Panetta learning intel on the fly as head of the CIA, or our new energy secretary needing to be told that he’s responsible for, um, energy?

Only another reason to be scared.
He doesn’t even know the difference between a donkey & a mule?!
Mule= offspring of a male donkey & a horse
Donkey= an ass.
Donkey does not = mule.
Moron does = Biden.

Biden? Isn’t he the guy who wanted to cut the Iranians a check for a billion dollars so they wouldn’t be mean to us….or something? We’re handing him the purse strings controlling almost a trillion dollars? What a good idea.
Oldnuke on February 23, 2009 at 1:54 PM
Biden’s correct foreign policy predictions and ideas over the last 30 years or whatever have given him confidence of this role.
What?
Oh sh1t.

Each day confirms my opinion that this country no longer exists. Hard to determine which appointment the ONE has made is the worst. Just think old lady Pelosi is 3rd in line should anything happen to these two “sharpies”. Don’t know about anyone else but the term “CZAR” has always concerned me. I guess it was used to break us in slowly to the direction this country is headed. May GOD have mercy on our soul.

My broker, who normally would convince me not to said “I would do the same”.

Obama sets up Czar Biden for his final act, stimulus aneurysm.
Limbaugh nailed the Obama presidency’s perpetual campaign on its head. Whatever you want to hear, Obama will say. “Words. Just words.” Muammar al-Qadhafi tagged Obama first.
Obama has put America on the global market butcher block in his own fashioned “Egyptian Sale”.
Biden can only survive in pleasantries. When the $h*t hits the fan backfiring on Biden, he simply can’t take it. He’s too old and brittle to duck, and too proud to endure the shame and humiliation from public outrage directed specifically at HIM.

What this administration really needs is a STUPIDITY CZAR. There is so much stupidity running rampant and being wasted that they need to get someone in control of it so that we can have this massive stupidity concentrated and directed to where it is really needed. It is a shame to see such an amazing level of stupidity go to waste.

This , is actually a brilliant move on Obambi’s part, because the wheels on the bus go thump, thump, thump when the stimulus has a monumental failure to do anything but increase public debt. He’s going to be the fall guy for a failed policy, and besides, maybe he will be sooooooo busy he wont have any time for international relations. hee hee
too bad we all fubarred in the meantime

This is all so surreal……Plugs bin Biden in charge of 800 billion bucks? I feel physically ill. The only thing being stimulated here is my anger; my blood is boiling. This crap is F**KING PISSING ME OFF. Obama is running our fine, beautiful, proud country like it’s a joke. (leaving for awhile to vent….)

There’s a new physical law. I’ll call it the Hairplugs Constant.
Biden’s probability of success or failure will be in direct proportion to off of whom he plagiarizes.

Jake Tapper has this today:
President Takes Veiled Shot at GOP Guvs
I guess that means they can’t give any money to ACORN/sarc.
Obama is really playing the heavy with this. Considering the amount of waste built into the stimulus it is the height of ludicrous hypocrisy that he even say this.
And speaking of ludicrous hypocrisy, he also took this shot at Jindal:

Is it me or does it seem that The One is just spreading the responsibility around instead of being the point man on big issues? He could have put Pelosi, Reed, Boehner, and McConnell in a room and worked out the stimulus details but he did not. He just let Pelosi and co. write the darn thing. Now he hands this off to Biden. I guess when the sh!$ goes bad he’ll start throwing these people under the bus. Its not me, it is them. Watch it happen.

I’m still surprised that no one has brought up the fact that “call you out” is more appropriate for high school (or elementary school, really) than the dignity of the office of Precedent. … Well, it is about right for the office of Precedent, but I would think that someone would notice that it isn’t Presidential, in the least.
Of course, I never went to Harvard Law, so … maybe this is how they are taught to speak at that undistinguished institution? I’m not into legalese, really.
“I’m going to call you out!” — the Great Orator and Smooth Talker Supreme.
“Ooooooh. Your mother wears army boots.” (I figure that is the appropriate response, though I don’t know if I can really grasp the intricacies of the high-powered lingusitic usage our idiot messiah is so famous for.
Where is that STUPIDITY CZAR, already?

Just wait until Japan gets to trading, tonight. They traded, last night, on the hope of that silly Citi announcement. Now they have to face reality. We’re looking at something like 30 year lows for the Nikkei.
progressoverpeace on February 23, 2009 at 3:48 PM
Why is everyone so down on Biden?
I’m sure he’ll do as fine a job as President Roosevelt did when he went on television after the Crash of ‘29.
malclave on February 23, 2009 at 3:49 PM
Maybe he’ll plagarize from Reagan this time. I’d be afraid to ask this guy for a dime – the charaties he supports would suffer a 10% reduction.
Fuquay Steve on February 23, 2009 at 3:50 PM
You’re right, it is childish. I should have caught that. That’s not adult to adult talk. Good grief, I just realized I didn’t even talk to my children in that manner when they were young.
This WH has not given a lot of indication that they have a deep bench of mature, serious, thoughtful adults working there.
INC on February 23, 2009 at 3:52 PM

I don’t think they’re in the West wing.
The only adults around are probably to be found in the permanent WH staff and caretakers, as well as the Secret Service and any members of the military who work there.
INC on February 23, 2009 at 4:04 PM
Wouldn’t it be great if Biden’s so stooopid that he accidentally apportions all of the money to tax cuts for businesses, nuclear power plant construction, improving the nation’s power grid or any of the other plans that would actually stimulate the economy and yield long-term benefits?
Ah well, a fella can dream, can’t he? At least until they find a way to tax that, too.
DrAllecon on February 23, 2009 at 4:06 PM
Forget me or you catching that. Where the heck were the media? Not just the MSM but everybody. I kept hearing reporters, and the mayors who were there, repeating that phrase (they seemed to enjoy it) as if it were some sort of government-speak. I don’t even know what it meant. To me, “calling out” means to take someone behind the gym and beat the cr#p out of them.
I don’t know. I would have had flaming blog headlines over that, with questions about “The Great Orator”. Maybe they’ve all been overloaded with the stupidity pouring out of the idiot messiah and his staff of numbskulls?
All I can say is that nothing makes me more furious than hearing people talk about the alleged intelligence of that moron … except when they talk about how he’s such a great and articulate speaker. It’s just ridiculous.
progressoverpeace on February 23, 2009 at 4:13 PM
Down 3.4% on investor confidence. You don’t say? What this stimulus needs is more talk from it’s point man, that’ll get the market back up to it’s knees.
(giggles)
Perhaps we can hear about how more taxes and a new carbon cap and trade regime will grow the economy. My guess someone in the Hope-n-Change brain trust put on a monster short position prior to this posse coming to town.

Our only hope is if Joe is as stingy with the stimulus money as he is with his charitable contributions which hover around the 1% level.

The stimulus is now a hot potato that he just tossed to Joe Biden. Now it’s his problem and if it all goes wrong it will be his fault. Does anyone see a pattern in Ozama like this forming.
