Video: Attractive economist already drawing MSM attention
posted at 1:45 pm on February 21, 2009 by Allahpundit
Yes, it’s her. With exactly one YouTube video to her credit, she’s already doing interviews with the likes of Bob Schieffer. I confess, I’d be smitten if not for the fact that my heart is already pledged to KP. Well, that and the southern accent.
Exit question one: Beautiful, libertarian, and a green belt in karate? Dude. Exit question two: How did CBS beat Fox News to the punch on this? Don’t Andy Levy and Steve Doocy read this site?

Blowback

You should have asked if they thought of that joke while recovering from their monthly heart attack.

by the way, Baruch college in NYC has whole classes full of women this good looking studying finance, economics, and entrepreneurship.
ernesto on February 21, 2009 at 5:21 PM
And then what happened?
Jim Treacher on February 21, 2009 at 5:39 PM
I don’t think she has much of an accent.
She is beautiful but my nod still goes to MKH. Nobody tell my wife, OK?
deewhybee on February 21, 2009 at 5:42 PM
You realize, of course, that if you (AllahPundit) don’t DO something, and quickly, that Captain Ed will most likely be the very next person to get an interview with her. Think of it like Obama’s economic crisis — don’t even bother reading the stimulus, just rush to approve it and make it law.

He’s NOT an atheist.
CyberCipher on February 21, 2009 at 5:46 PM
Sounds pretty ditzy to me.
MidnightRambler on February 21, 2009 at 5:51 PM
All the people I know who moved to southern states were quite happy.
Blake on February 21, 2009 at 5:58 PM
She would never make it in government. It appears she actually does research and would likely read a bill to understand its merits before she voted on it.
There a lot of very lazy people walking the halls of the House and Senate. Let’s hope they’re voted into retirement in 2010.
jdflorida on February 21, 2009 at 6:33 PM
I think it’s funny when pretty women say simple, common sense things which makes men weak in the knees. Whatever works to get our point across! YEAH!
SouthernGent on February 21, 2009 at 6:34 PM
I don’t know about weak in the knees…but the women I encounter do say a lot of simple common sense things: “I’ve got Mace!” “I’m calling 911!” “I’m packing a Glock!”
And it seems to work well for them, too.
:-)
coldwarrior on February 21, 2009 at 6:41 PM
I laughed.
I laughed again. Very nice.
Spirit of 1776 on February 21, 2009 at 6:55 PM
He absolutely would! (With, of course, the required getting married and the thing about not aborting your baby that may result from your copulations!)
geckomon on February 21, 2009 at 7:00 PM
Quick, someone throw Helen Thomas out of her chair to make room. And as an added bonus, the questions will be more intelligent.
GarandFan on February 21, 2009 at 7:04 PM
Nothing wrong with having great looking women with brains
Michele and Ann Coulter are good examples.
Note to the Left: whining is not atractive; neither is catty sniping (maybe Olberman should listen to this).
mad scientist on February 21, 2009 at 7:16 PM
Now about that KP headline….
Fuquay Steve on February 21, 2009 at 7:17 PM
Yeah, when she countered Schieffer’s lazy assertions with specific facts and figures, I was like, “What an airhead!”
Jim Treacher on February 21, 2009 at 7:28 PM
KP? Is she related to Helen Thomas?
wepeople on February 21, 2009 at 7:39 PM
Wait, can you have an accent when you whisper?
mikeyboss on February 21, 2009 at 8:54 PM
She does look good.
Reading the President’s budget and fiscal cons should like it.
“Seeks To Cut Deficit In Half By End Of Term… Big Reductions For Iraq, Afghanistan Wars… Tax Hikes For The Wealthy”
getalife on February 21, 2009 at 8:57 PM
She is hot but her Tax Plan is stupid. Tax holidays don’t stimulate anything because they are temporary. Once they expire the “stimulus” disappears. Only permanent tax cuts to the marginal tax rates will work.
Poptech on February 21, 2009 at 9:20 PM
It’s a jump start that would be felt immediately, not a substitute for permanent marginal rate cuts. Those can still be negotiated.
Kensington on February 21, 2009 at 9:28 PM
It will not jump start anything. Unless the tax cuts are permanent there will be no long term affect. You cannot “jump start” an economy.
Poptech on February 21, 2009 at 9:31 PM
KP : hotter, yeah or nay.
Fuquay Steve on February 21, 2009 at 9:53 PM
Nonsense. If I have more of my money in pocket NOW, I can participate in the economy more NOW. If, at the end of the year, there are also new marginal tax rate cuts, then the good times can continue.
It doesn’t have to be either-or, Poptech. No one’s arguing against marginal tax rate cuts. As for whether things need to be permanent right off the bat, the Bush tax cuts weren’t permanent, yet they still had a quick positive effect on the economy.

All the beauty in the world ain’t gonna fix this mess. Its gonna take guts and sense.
johnnyU on February 21, 2009 at 10:18 PM
Beauty AND Brains.
Her beauty is just the sauce, a decoration if you will. Her brains IMO are the meat, that wonderful, sustaining, nutritious and oh so tasty meat.
That’s what counts, make no mistake. Beauty isn’t so rare but smarts and common sense is and she has all of that in spades IMO.
Yakko77 on February 21, 2009 at 11:18 PM
I hope she marries me. I’ll be her gaffer. lol.
BobUSMC on February 21, 2009 at 11:30 PM
Don’t buy used anymore, dude… Trade up.
Oh, yeah because that accent all the Jersey goilz in the Douchebag Beach video was jost zo fokkin’ zexy, y’know?
ScottMcC on February 21, 2009 at 11:33 PM
What was it that dear old Bob said. “the people getting something for nothing.” Sort of tells you where he is coming from doesn’t it. She however bitch slapped him by telling him the real truth of just who’s money it really is. It’s ours for Gods sake. Well, it use to be anyway. :(
devere252 on February 22, 2009 at 1:13 AM
Michelle Muccio.
She works for Action Institute “for the study of religion and liberty”. She also went to George Mason University. Same school as the drag-queen Homecoming Queen. heh.
The ‘Core Principals’ of the Action Institute is definitely going to rub Allahpundit the wrong way though. She’s definitely no aetheist.
Poor AllahP :(
To save some of you the trouble… Michelle Muccio Google Link
Dhurka Dhurka on February 22, 2009 at 1:14 AM
People getting to keep the money they work to earn is “something for nothing?”
What an asshat.
What about all the money we dump into Washington and get nothing for something?
29Victor on February 22, 2009 at 1:30 AM
Sure there would be more money in your pocket which is fine, it is still not going to help the economy since it does nothing to promote long term investment or growth. It is a temporary “bonus” to those receiving it.
Poptech on February 22, 2009 at 2:27 AM
All she has to do is wink at you, flash her iPhone, and KP is light years away………
Bubba Redneck on February 22, 2009 at 2:50 AM
She’d be an excellent press secretary for Palin. Beautiful, feisty, and factual. She’d be the anti-Gibbs: not fat, not condescending, and not a moron.
In the 80′s people complained about the $600 toilet seat. This is the era of the billion-dollar Acorn.
EMD on February 22, 2009 at 7:42 AM
Yeah. Way better to just give gazillions (of your and my money) to rich corporations. Whatever happened to “corporate welfare” being a bad thing?
Squiggy on February 22, 2009 at 7:49 AM
Exit answer one: And brunette! Don’t forget brunette.
Exit answer two: McManus won the p1ss1ing contest over Ailes??

Yeah… My granddaughter is ranked in the top 30 nation wide in math for her age group (darn squeaky little genius). The possibility that you might label her as “ditzy” because you have no vision, or perhaps because all girly sounding women are, or for some other off handed reason is a shame on you moment.
-
Her talk of going after waste, and letting the people keep their money are both very sound. Your short flippant stab at her makes you sound both boorish and lame.
RalphyBoy on February 22, 2009 at 9:49 AM
Awesome.
Aronne on February 22, 2009 at 10:41 AM
She’s got the right idea. Money in the hands of rational Americans beats money in the hands of corrupt incompetent bureaucrats by about 10 to 1.
Oh, and she is hot too.
Mojave Mark on February 22, 2009 at 10:50 AM
She makes perfect sense, that’s why democrats wont do it. They also cant possibly give people their own money.
tx2654 on February 22, 2009 at 11:45 AM
Ewwwww! You like Kathleen Parker? Guh-ross!
thegreatbeast on February 22, 2009 at 12:43 PM
Michael Steele should consider making her the Shadow Cabinet Secretary of the Treasury
DaMav on February 22, 2009 at 1:16 PM
heart stopper..
in more ways than one!
Handel on February 22, 2009 at 1:56 PM
No. Here’s how Mr. Steele should remake the party………….Conservatism: We’ve got the best hotties (that aren’t crazy!)
Wow. And……she plays softball.
Dr.Cwac.Cwac on February 22, 2009 at 5:07 PM
A drop dead gorgeous woman who’s brilliant. THERE’S HOPE! And. She can literally “kick ass”. I’m enthralled. Gotta get her teamed up with Gov. Palin. Now, THAT’S a ticket…
Roger Brown on February 22, 2009 at 7:19 PM
Sounds like a job for the government.
Jim Treacher on February 22, 2009 at 9:35 PM
“People get to keep their money.” And she thinks The One will go for it? — Good Luck with that!
Notice also that slimy Schiefer threw in : “OF course people will like it, they are getting something for nothing.” On a tax reduction? What does the old fool think the porkulus ( or any other government program) is? And he and The One both think tax reductions are something for nothing! Socialist asses.
Note to Republicans: Please stop letting the pro-mortgage snake oil salesmen of the left get away with sidestepping the charge that the new-mortgage program subdizes irresponsible behavior.
They are saying that the lenders cheated and originated extortinated mortgages. Well, where is law enforcement? And if it was legal, change the law. And wanna bet those people didn’t know that they were working the system? If they were that stupid we need their bodies in adult education as a prerequisite for a bailout. In addition to a MV check of the cars and boats they drive.
Demorons are also hissing the lie that not helping ‘investors’ or people with ‘expensive homes’ makes the program honest. What does that have to do with a program that is fraudulent at its core? We return to the fact that rest of us pay for someone else’s stupid or irresponsible behavior. So people whose stated purpose was to make a buck or those who were stupid and dreamed big are excluded?
But maybe we can extend this.
I bought some stock that was really dumb and my house has lost some value and my outside Christmas decoration…but that is religion..my old TV..
IlikedAUH2O on February 23, 2009 at 2:45 AM
Extornitaed = extortionate
Sorry and thanks for allowing me to vent. Been a hard month.
IlikedAUH2O on February 23, 2009 at 2:52 AM
Doocy!!! Don’t let us down, get her on Fox and Friends!
cryptojunkie on February 23, 2009 at 3:02 AM
AP, ripping the accent was nothing compared to admitting you’d rather be LOYAL to a good looking Liberal to a Karate Chopping Libertarian.
As for the green belt, it’s a start. I just tested last Thursday for my 1st degree recommended black belt in tae kwon do. You don’t start being required to break boards to pass until you get to blue belt. Two people no changed because they didn’t break their boards at testing. One was going for his BB. Sucks. Being around a while it’s about green belt and above where people start dropping off. Perserverance is the word and going through the process weeds those who have BB attitude & those that don’t. Talk to me when she’s a brown belt and then I’ll be impressed.
Sultry Beauty on February 23, 2009 at 9:38 AM
BTW, my 11 year old son whose a 2nd degree BB in TKD was filming me testing. My board breaks were flying jump side kick ( yes, run, jump, fly through air, chamber leg, kick straight out, break board) and front elbow strike. My son filmed my bow in, my other son bumped him right when I did my hop before I run and he shut off the camera. He didn’t it turn it back on until AFTER both were complete. Idid them both on the 1st try one after the other so it was no longer than 45 seconds to finish. I’d have YouTubed it because seeing is SO much different than just talking about it. I may just do it anyway, could be funny. Maybe I’ll add some tournament sparring where I took 1st by kicking a bunch of females in the head. I love doing that. It’s a thing of beauty!
Sultry Beauty on February 23, 2009 at 9:49 AM
She never articulated her point. She was supposed to say that she was only proposing to suspend payroll taxes for one year and that, since the government was already going to throw 800 billion at the problem, 800 billion would likely subsidize such a move.
