I just had to say I think this is an exceptional analogy for what’s going on here.

I think this is a brilliant move on DeMint’s behalf, and if they don’t make him Senate Minority Leader ASAP it’ll only prolong the period before he can be the Senate Majority leader.

On a net basis, Pelosi and Reid get positive reviews from within their own party while Boehner and McConnell do not.

Fifty-eight percent (58%) of Democrats have a favorable opinion of Pelosi while only 35% say the opposite. For Reid, the numbers from Democrats are 40% favorable and 28% unfavorable.

Just 29% of Republicans have a favorable opinion of Boehner and 36% hold an unfavorable view. The comparable numbers for McConnell are 33% favorable and 34% unfavorable. Forty-four percent (44%) of Democrats don’t know enough about McConnell to have an opinion, and 41% of Democrats say the same about Boehner.

This needs explication.

Is it that only 29% of Republicans know who Boehner is, and 36% of Republicans haven’t a clue and assume Boehner is just another Washingtonian?

Were the Republicans Rasmussen polled mostly from Maine or Philadelphia?

The vast majority of the Dems, including the leadership, actually believe their own propaganda.

No … I think they aren’t stupid, and they aren’t assuming we are stupid.

They think we are either being ignorant or actively evil.

The rank and file really believe in this crap. They are insane by the normal definition … doing the same things over and over again and expecting the result to change.

The adult Dem leadership fall into two categories … the ones who believe … and the truly evil. The latter are the ones who think we are as stupid as the Democrat rank and file.

The “Fairness Doctrine” is un-Constitutional. DeMint has reason to fight it in Congress and in the Courts.

Either Freedom of Speech and Freedom of the Press apply across the media or not at all. To limit freedom of the press Constitutional privileged right to an archaic paper-press is pernicious, as when the paper-press is obsolete, so is that Constitutional Right.

Summum ius, summa iniuria.

The democrats must be drowning in corruption, or maybe it’s the release of Hussein’s birth certificate they fear, for whatever reason they are crazy-nuts out to silence the right.

All it would take for this to escalate to “Civil Unrest” is for Dear Leader proven to be Illegitimate for the Office. The Financial sector is already to rock and roll and the people are cheering open acts of disparagement on national TV, not a very good sign. If he were seen as unfit, this would boil over. Impeachment would follow shortly after. Democrats would NOT impeach him and that would be the spark that would set fire to this Nation.
