Sebelius is awesome! Not only is she pro-abortion, she stepped in to prevent the AG of KS from prosecuting Tiller the Killer when the AG wanted to bring charges against him for MULTIPLE charges of covering up young girls statutorily raped and impregnated by either family members or older boyfriends. One particular little girl was brought in pregnant by her father at 12, 13, 13 and 14. (Yes, she was impregnated twice by her father when she was 13.) Tiller covered it up, destroyed the evidence, failed to report, and Sebelius made sure he wasn't prosecuted. Go culture of death! Hope and Change, y'all.

factoid on February 19, 2009 at 9:27 AM

The Democratic party has done an amazing job of using the bogeyman of closet racists to scare black people and other minorities away from the Party of Lincoln (founded by abolitionists) and right into the hands of the party that founded the KKK to make sure "undesirables" wouldn't vote in elections.

Unfortunately, because the Republican party has been hopeless the past 60 years when it comes to marketing themselves, they have not been able to get rid of the lies the opposition has slandered them with in spite of the fact that their policies (e.g. school choice) would do far more to benefit minority communities than any snake oil the Democrats are selling.

So, what would you have us do? Kidnap black people and force them to be Republicans so we can have the right numerical mixture for folks like you? Or, should we continue working to reach out to members of minority communities (hopefully a lot more skillfully than we've been doing) and allow people of all colors to make up their own minds which party to join.

We you compare the small percentage of black people that are actually Republicans with the number of black Republicans that have been in leadership roles (Sec State, Sec Ed, Joint Chiefs, Pres RNC, etc) it would appear that there is statistically more opportunity for black people in the Republican party than in the Democrat party. All that's required is an ability to see beyond Democrat lies and the stiff spine required to deal with being called "Uncle Tom" by prominent Democrats and media commentators and the ability to laugh it off when people throw oreos at you.

The picture of Obama and Sebelius… what/who the hell are they pointing at?

They’re hardly the first politicians to point into the crowd, but what’s that about? I’m sure they want to make the audience feel connected, but they’re probably pointing at a light fixture or a doorway.

Good, another pro-abortion "Catholic" politician becomes even more prominent. I've said it before, but I'll say it again. This only helps force the bishops to FINALLY take a stand. I know many of you non-Catholics don't care about her standing in the Church, but for those of us who take our faith seriously, this is only a good thing. (The only good thing to come of something like this.)

Catholics, if you haven't signed this already, please take a minute to do so. It is time for our bishops to start separating the wheat from the chaff and put an end to this scandal.

Whole-hearted agreement. Maybe he could find someplace for that opportunistic harpy who's been sueing Mayor Funky. She's just his type.

I guess the strategy has shifted from socialized medicine to partial birth abortion.

Vashta.Nerada on February 19, 2009 at 9:49 AM

I doubt it. Partial birth abortion is illegal in the United States. The law banning it was enacted with overturn-proof bipartisan support.
