That is part of the point I was trying to make, some earmarks are good and needed some not so much. Like I would expect Duncan Hunter’s earmarks went to something very worthy while at the same time I am sure Pelosi’s went to someone connected to her hubby.

I like the idea but it is a sword that cuts both ways since it removes the good and the bad. We will probably never see it though since those very folks that would get term limited would have to vote for it. We don’t have a national referendum process and I’m not sure we would would want one knowing how screwed up California’s is. It leads to mob rule and with some very bad consequences as our bloated bankrupt budget shows though it does produce some good results from time to time.
