The sooner that the mainstream media starts presenting these stories factually, the more chance the world has of fending off this insane notion of islam being the religion of peace. This man acted according to his ‘beliefs’, or his understanding of them under Sharia; and he certainly believes that he didn’t do anything wrong.

I don’t care how many people are offended by the truth, for any muslim to believe that it’s Ok to slaughter his wife is simply unacceptable. Murder cannot be excused under the guise of religious freedoms.

Plenty. From CNN:

Firfirey, as well as a Pakistani woman identifying herself as another of Aasiya Hassan’s sisters, characterized her as living in fear.

Firfirey said the last time she saw her sister was in May 2008, when she visited South Africa. When she arrived, she was badly injured, and Firfirey’s family paid the equivalent of about $3,000 for her to be treated, she said.

Aasiya Hassan returned to America, she said, because she wanted to complete her MBA degree and “didn’t want to leave her children with that monster.” She said she calls Muzzammil Hassan “the fat man with evil eyes.”

Aasiya Hassan would have graduated March 6, Firfirey said.

A woman in Pakistan using the name Salma Zubair posted on a blog that she is the sister of “this brutally murdered woman.”

“She lived her 8 years of married life with fear in heart,” Zubair wrote. “He had already frightened her enough that she couldn’t muster up her guts and leave him, and when she finally did gather that much strength he killed her so brutally. She lived to protect her children from this man and his family and she died doing so.”

She said Aasiya Hassan “had always been a very loving person, not even one person in this world can say a small wrong word about her … she had always dreamed a life of a happily married family, which she did her best to achieve.”

Zuhdi Jasser is one of about two moderate Muslims Glenn Beck frequently puts on to prove that the problem is not Islam but its interpretation by radicals.

Jasser seems like a nice fellow, but he doesn’t reflect the views of most Muslim scholars.

And, although I like Glenn, he needs to realize that there may be moderate Muslims but there is no moderate Islam.

M. Zuhdi Jasser, founder and chairman of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, agreed with Chesler.

“It certainly has all the markings of [an honor killing],” Jasser told FOXNews.com. “She expressed through the legal system that she was being abused, and at the moment she asked for divorce, she’s not only murdered — she’s decapitated.”

…

“The most dangerous aspect of this case is to simply say it’s domestic violence,” Jasser told FOXNews.com.

This is something new. Usually the Muslim official wants us to believe it’s just a case of domestic abuse.

The MSM fear not those with whom they sympathize.

Their mistake is thinking the Muslim world gives a crap about them, fairness or human life. The media believes if they walk on eggshells around the very word itself they have bought favor with these bloodthirsty savages void of any moral compass.

A horrible miscalculation, that will culminate into much fear when they find themselves at the point of a sword.

Back to the real world, where I believe normal men have a natural instinct to protect normal women, and where our differences complement each other rather than make one inferior, the real culprit is the misogynistic doctrine of Islam.

But that Melissa girl can keep telling herself that her lack of male companionship is by choice rather than her failure to groom and get a decent pair of glasses.
