Why limit the assassinations to nuclear scientists? Mossad along with CIA, MI5 should take apart Iran’s Islamic regime covertly. Knock off the mullahs and Ahmadinejad and make it look like Sunni muslim groups/states like Al Qaeda/Saudi Arabia were behind it.

Islam has a built-in self-destruct mechanism: sectarianism. If there’s anything muslims love more than killing us infidels is killing each other. If they’re too busy looking over their shoulder for attacks from other muslims, its less time they have to spend trying to come after us. :)

And another way to slow things down is to make them so paranoid and so suspicious of a “covert” program that arcane security regulations get in the way of getting actual work done while they engage in useless witch hunts within their own ranks.

The intelligence community spends more time spinning out James Bond tales of covert spy action, than actually doing any. After all, they do have to justify their huge budgets and lack of success.

If Iran implodes, as well as losing the fight for the destruction of Israel, they also lose face around the world of nutjobs.

Mossad may be a doing the best thing here – if it works.

One other thing – since Israel has been selling bad parts to Iran, who’s to say that Pakistan hasn’t had the same thing done to it? They can’t test, lest they scare India into war (which India cannot lose).

Pakistan is not as much of a threat as they would like to pretend, nukes notwithstanding. Their maintenance quality level is nowhere near ours.

That legitimizes American airstrikes under the Geneva Convention. Hell, it even legitimizes ground forces going in.

Now how can America complain about Israel hitting Iran if we are doing the exact same thing?
