The Obama people must have searched long and hard to round up such a bunch of wimps and whiners in Fort Myers. My parents live there, and it’s mostly a rich retirement area.

And not a single media outlet complaining that after only 3 weeks he is on vacation while the country is burning to the ground! Remember, after only a little over a week, he and michelemybelle went to read to school children because they were “tired of being in the WH”!

Also, does anyone else find it delusional for the media to call the passage of this bill a huge victory for PBO? If I have heard this once, I have heard it a thousand times.
Just exactly how is it a big victory? This is what it is going to be like for the next few years. I expect they will be fawning over his every move ad nauseum.

You can do whatever the f’k you want with them. They were just being Dems. They got elected. Who did not know they were going to write legislation that called everyone comrade?

What I did not know was that three Repub Senators, twice voted to give them their mandate. Don’t you get that? Every single other elected Repub voted against this bill except those three. So while you jump ugly about Dems being Dems I’m outraged by the three Repubs who enabled them.

The rule of politics is you never bring a bill to the floor if you don’t have the votes. These three made a Faustian bargain with the Dems and they still remain within the party. You can piss away your time jumping up and down in the playpen about who wrote the bill but I’ll spend mine trying to get rid of the folks who have put the Repubs in the minority.

Just remember going forward as these trillions wipe out your children and grandchildren it was these three Repubs who made it happen. Had they voted as all Repubs had the bill would have failed and a new one would have had to be written with Repub participation.

Democrats are not relieved of responsibility for their votes merely because of partisanship. And these three are idiots, but we already knew that. I certainly don’t blame the GOP for that.

I am not blaming the GOP. I am blaming these three Senators. I am not blaming the Dems for being Dems.

I am blaming the Repub leadership for allowing these three Senators to remain in the party. Without their votes this bill would have failed along with Reid, Pelosi and Obama. Now it is too late. They voted for this bill twice. It was a premeditated murder of 49% of the American people by these three. If they are allowed to stay in the party after this crime the repubs deserve the fate that awaits them.

What I am also ranting against are the folks trying to blame the Dems for this. How naive. Everyone, including the Dems, knew this vote came down to Collins, Snowe and Specter. They betrayed us and prevented a better, less damaging bill to emerge.

Until Repubs come to terms with what these three did enjoy the wilderness.

Yeah, Pat, I’m only a knight, but I’m with the Bishop on this one. Your statement is both statistically wrong and irrational.

The vote in the House reflected a solid liberal Democrat majority, voting almost unanimously in favor. The bill was weak enough that seven Democrats took a public stand against it, and against a popular new Democrat President and a particularly vindictive leftist Speaker. Not a single GOP Representative voted for this bill, which is astonishing.

The vote in the Senate was unanimous for the leftists, and nearly every GOP Senator rejected it. Three of 41 voted to support the bill, along with 56 Democrats and 2 Independents (Lieberman, a Democrat in fact, and Sanders, a Socialist).

Obama is in over his head. He has never had a difficult challenge in his life, and he now he has the one job in the world with the worst challenges. He didn’t have the clout to get Nancy to cut the ridiculous pork from the stimulus.

Just relying on advisors won’t necessarily help, as he has to choose the advisors. And so far, his picks have not gone well. He has found out the hard way not to trust the Congressional Dems, as they have their own agenda, and plan to be around after he’s gone.

Exactly. Obama is nothing but a front man. He was controlled by Dailey and company in Illinois and Axelrod totally ran the show when he campaigned. But the problem is even more serious than Obama being an empty suit. The people actually making the decisions are either totally incompetent when it comes to governing…Axelrod. Or they are completely off the scale as far as ideology…Pelosi.

It will paralyze him and he will find a way to blame a collection of Republicans, Rush, Hannity and anyone who has the temerity to question his actions.

When we get hit again here on our soil, and we will, I dread what Ogabe will do and what he will then justify as appropriate. What a perfect time to implement his “Internal Security Force”, a national emergency.

No need to romance the media. Every time he pauses they fall to their knees to service him. Just like three republican senators I can think of.

But don’t limit the response to the RNC to withholding finance. Barrage the RNC with the WORD.

The GOP has always had its platform. Just because the current membership ignores the platform does not deny the platform’s existence. Back to basics. Fred Thompson’s platform was the GOP Constitutional Platform. Conservatives recognize things for what they are. Personalities and transience aside, stick to the platform.

Michael Steele may have the gumption to realize that the Republican Party is the immediate American political means to resist Soros’ onslaught obliterating the existence of Constitutional life.

Every organization has a platform “mission statement”. Keep it simple and put the contract into words on paper. RNC money must only support the party platform. Running as a “Republican” candidate on any party ticket must require unity to the party platform. Sign on. Or support your own independence. Follow the money.
