He flat out said that the Dear Leader was dishonest , adding that it was something he would not have said a month ago. Let’s not be excited if the WaPo is conducting an ongoing investigation against John Murtha. Murtha might be the sacrificial lamb for the Dems.

Everyone agrees Murtha is a buffoon. IIRC he’s supposed to retire after this term or next.

Ergo, he’s expendable.

So, here’s a chance for the WaPo to burnish its nonpartisan credentials AND STILL minimize harm to the Dem cause. They spend all their energy bringing down Murtha. Big deal.

Meanwhile, Pelosi and Emmanuel and Rangel skate away, unmolested by the crack investigative journalists of the WaPo
