A predictable case of teens rebelling against the establishment’s newest authority figure? Of course not. Barack’s counterculture, man; if he wasn’t, would he be the subject of totalitarian art? Turns out it’s (mostly) a case of school spirit. Boulder High is Boulder High, our new Messiah notwithstanding.
This story was gift-wrapped for me by Slapstick Politics, so I’m going to make you click over there to see who’s responsible for proposing the name change. Do note the photo near the bottom. You’ll find video of the group’s irritatingly self-important press conference withdrawing the petition at the top here. The kid at the mike’s going to end up as some Democrat’s press secretary someday, isn’t he?

Boulder High students need to look no further than how things turned out for the University of Miami’s new stadium. Alex Rodriguez Field doesn’t seem so smart now, does it? First rule of naming things after people: WAIT until they’re dead and all skeletons in closet have been revealed.

That video is so content rich. (I luv the snotty little marxist chick with tons of tude) but my fave for Fabian fabulousness was when the dude wearing a Boulder High tee shirt said:
We are so glad that students were able to express their views in a progressive manner.
It’s so heartening to see that a daredevil non-conformist who is clearly not a member of the Student Worker Party has been at work editing Boulder High’s wiki page, where this motto has been added:
We are not classless thugs

The teachers at Boulder High will need to ratchet up the indoctrination. Give them a couple years for this batch of kids to graduate. They’ll get that name change before Obama’s first term is up.

Boulder cracks me up. The average price of a home surrounding Boulder high is about $800,000 and if you’re not eating overpriced organic food and riding a $2,000 mountain bike you’re just not getting it. In a town that is 98% white and one of the most educated towns in America they claim diversity and multiculti is the holy grail.

Just viewed the appallingly blasphemous video. I think some of the porkulous bill money would be wisely spent reeducating these lemmings. They probably are brainwashed into believing these heretical teachings via talk radio. Something has to be done! The Righteous Wise Master must act!
