Video: Attractive economist dumps on the stimulus
posted at 9:32 pm on February 12, 2009 by Allahpundit
Hey, I wonder if this woman will be showing up on Fox News anytime soon. Want to start a pool? I’m willing to accept guesses as to (a) date of first appearance and (b) which show she’ll debut on. My guess: March 1, Fox & Friends. If that’s already taken, March 15 on Cavuto. Tell me I’m wrong.

Blowback

I watched the vid and she was talking about something but I don’t remember what exactly.
She’s very svelte, isn’t she?
Bishop on February 12, 2009 at 9:36 PM
“Red Eye” as fast as they can book her.
Is that a “Whole Lotta Love” karaoke track behind this clip?

. . . I’m sorry. What did you say?
macummings on February 12, 2009 at 9:38 PM
nice. very nice. And she just blew some Democrat minds-it was obvious they’d never even considered keeping more of their own money!
hippie_chucker on February 12, 2009 at 9:38 PM
Just based on the picture above, she may be a bit too flat chested.

Red Eye, hell yeah. They’ll put her the “Megyn” chair up front, after bribing Gutfeld (he’ll want her to sit next to him).

Better looking than anybody in congress and did a better selling job on tax cuts than any Republican.
Plus she clearly showed that Obama supporters are clueless.
Star20 on February 12, 2009 at 9:39 PM
she’s really really cute.
promachus on February 12, 2009 at 9:40 PM
Ahhh…reminds me of what’s her name (she was part of a Christian website, if I remember)…AP used to post a lot of her video blogs here a few years back…she was very easy on the eyes, but never made it on FOX.

Just when I think God doesn’t exist.
I see a woman like this.

She can whisper about “stimulus” in my ear…any time….

To be fair, its not like she came up with the plan.
Also, the guy who said “create more jobs” sounded like he said that because that’s what she wanted to hear.
And what’s wrong with using that money to pay down debts? Isn’t debt what got us into trouble in the first place?

Does he really? I love love love that show!
SoxNation on February 12, 2009 at 9:46 PM
Yeah, but the whole reason for Obama’s stimulus plan is not to help the economy. It is a Trojan Horse for the libs to take other people’s money and give it to the libs’ pet projects.
carbon_footprint on February 12, 2009 at 9:46 PM
Sharp and attractive. She’s Megyn Kelly with brown hair.
V15J on February 12, 2009 at 9:47 PM
Allahp is in love
Finally a woman who makes a beta male blogger post about economics and focuses on the main point of what “Stimulus” really means.

What a vacuous ditz. She will most certainly break into Fox News at some point.
Dave Rywall on February 12, 2009 at 9:47 PM
Fox News needs to interview her tomorrow morning in front of the White House. The phone lines will be burning all day. Then, she’ll be on the Fox Special Brett Baier is running Saturday night. The phone lines will continue to burn. Things will hit critical mass by Saturday night that either Dave Axelrod will back out of his interview with Wallace on Sunday or Wallace will bump Axelrod in favor of this woman.
In the end, the bill will get torpedoed after a long-weekend worth of criticism. Obama et al. won’t know what hit them.

Funny how the ‘vacuous ditz’ got all the Obama voters to agree that simple across-the-board tax cuts make more sense than the gummint spending.

I’ll add only that we have this woman, while Dave has…Rachel Maddow.
As far as this woman’s concerned–(Bob Hope growl).
BuckeyeSam on February 12, 2009 at 9:56 PM
There used to be this saying, “Tell the smart girls they’re pretty, tell the pretty girls they’re smart, tell the homely girls they’re. . .” Arrgh–I’m mangling it, but whatever it is, she would tie it in a pretzel!

I think there needs to be a plan,
stack the entire Republican Party
with gorgeous eye popping females
that have the credentials(schooling)
to match,
that way,they’ll outsmart any liberals,
and start a war within the Liberal Party,
of FemeNazi’s!
That way,the Liberal woman are catfighting,

And have SarahCuda at the top, of course,

Seven Percent Solution on February 12, 2009 at 10:06 PM
You know it was a good day when Andrew Sullivan is saying this:
It gets clearer. When Judd Gregg approached the Obama administration to see if he could be a part of it, he was assuming that his own party wasn’t going to adopt a policy of total warfare against the newly elected president in a time of enormous economic peril. Between that moment and the current all-out ideological assault on Obama, his position became untenable. His recusal on the stimulus package provoked fury at home (check out the comments here) and dyspepsia among the GOP who are intent on responding to an open hand with a clenched fist.
I have to say even I am a little taken aback by the force of the Republican assault. Even in a downturn as swift and alarming as this one, even after an election that clearly favored one approach over another, even after the most conciliatory efforts by an incoming president in memory, these people have gone to war against the president. The president should stay cool. The rest of us should realize what motivates the GOP: the opportunism of selective ideology.
Mr. Joe on February 12, 2009 at 10:06 PM
Ah, put her, Amanda Carpenter, and our Michelle on a panel with Megyn Kelley and every male in America will watch, will maybe not the fudgies but you know what I mean.

I will have to agree. She will appear on ‘Red Eye’ and then on to Fox Business Channel.
jencab on February 12, 2009 at 10:10 PM
She’s 27. I have jeans that are 27 and I’m 44.
She’s very stimulating even when she talks down the stimulus, Greg will be drooling. She’ll be able to talk for 15 minutes before he interrupts.
Rocks on February 12, 2009 at 10:11 PM
She’s hot, but needs to work on the communications a bit before she’s ready for Fox… especially given the talent they already have. The only place that has hotties rivaling those on Fox News, is Fox Business Network… Have you seen these chicks, Allah?
http://www.foxbusiness.com/our-team/personalities/index.html
Alexis Glick, Jenna Lee (YOW!), Rebecca Diamond (formerly Gomez), Sandra Smith (OH MY GOSH!!!), Shibani Joshi, and Tracy Byrnes. This chick you just showed us is hot, but Fox has a bevy of beauties balking at the bailout… alliteration aside, is there really room for another?
RightWinged on February 12, 2009 at 10:13 PM
Nice.
Sign her up.
johnnyU on February 12, 2009 at 10:13 PM
Only so you do not have to. The Schadenfreud is think though, Sullivan has five posts or so on how the GOP knee capped Gregg like Tony Soprano going after a potential witness. If the GOP had that kind of mussle they would be going after Specter and the girls. Sullivan misses the more obvious explanation of Gregg actually being a fiscal conservative.
Mr. Joe on February 12, 2009 at 10:15 PM
“She’ll be able to talk for 15 minutes before he interrupts.”
i see bill piping up well before then …

PJTV are you listening? Add her in with Michelle and Glenn and you will get some response. I know one thing is for sure the GOP has far better looking women than the Dems do outside of Hollywood.
goat on February 12, 2009 at 10:18 PM
She could be Red Eye’s own stimulus package.
29Victor on February 12, 2009 at 10:18 PM
A girl I knew in school does both. She’s gorgeous but not exactly the brightest bulb in the box.
If this girl is articulate and quick upstairs, then fine, but guys, there are lots of beautiful women for you to look at on tv, but they don’t necessarily need to be our spokespeople. Please. Let’s not be like those who ask Obama what it’s like to be so sexy. =/
herrevery on February 12, 2009 at 10:18 PM
AHAHAHA
Wow, and he does this for a living? Where to start?
A forest fire is swift and alarming, but throwing truckloads of pine logs into it’s path won’t stop it.
Clearly favored? 53-46… yep. Or are electoral votes suddenly more important since their guy won?
Most conciliatory – that’s just too outrageous to counter. Maybe he just doesn’t have a very good memory.
Yep they really went to war over by allowing Hillary and Geitner to sail through. I mean, I can’t imagine why Republicans would oppose a bill that contains billions of dollars of payback to Dem organizations and opens the door to millions of more welfare recipients while offering little stimulus to any non-union, non government business.
reaganaut on February 12, 2009 at 10:18 PM
I didn’t even think of that… Red Eye might have her, and in the legs chair of course. How did I not think of that, it’s my favorite show?
And SoxNation, Andy does stop by occasionally, but I’m not sure how often he lurks without commenting. Treacher is here quite a bit though.

First paragraph out the gate, she doesn’t even know what the total cost of the ‘stimulus’ is going to be… she ain’t no ‘part economist’. Or, she’s one helluvan uninformed part-economist. The rest of it is all plagarized old news and ideas. Nothing original at all.
Just some eye candy and not much else going on there it seems. I dooo dig her resemblence to Famke Janssen though.
Listneing to her attempt to be intelligent and relevently informed?
Not so much. We have oodles of that everywhere already.
