It would be sweet, indeed, if that’s what he did, but I just don’t know if he’s the type to risk the potential negatives. Let’s not forget, the Republicans in Congress want desperately to be loved by the MSM.

AS I write this, there is in front of me a hand written, snail mail letter in my best handwriting and addressed to Gregg’s Concord office BEGGING him to run for office in the next election. Do I think it will help? Not if the political climate is such that he feels he cannot win.—Change of subject. It occurs to me to ask if the way the Dems are treating the GOP is how the GOP treated the Dems when we were in power? Can anyone answer this for me?

Gregg came to this decision to withdraw from consideration over the last couple days, informed the White House and Senate leaders, and announced his decision today.

The withdrawal appeared to take the White House by surprise, with members of the president’s media operation learning of Gregg’s decision from reporters.

In other words, the president's media operation people aren't weren't told by Obama. These people didn't watch West Wing?!
