If the plan calls for the purchase of certain “GREEN” vehicles that will be purchased rather than the “non-green” vehicles……

Then………the current companies that make standard versions will suffer, and the net gain will be ZERO

What I would love to see is if someone has the numbers on what President Obama’s PR trips to the different states with town hall meetings are costing the taxpayers after me bashed CEO for using private planes. Unlike those smaller planes, President Obama’s cost $70-75k an HOUR to fly and each of these trips was about 2 hours each way. Then add in the cost of his entourage and the fact that a C-141 also fly’s where every he goes with his limo and other vehicles. I am guess these trips cost at least $500k each if not more yet he bashed the exec’s for a $25K flight.

If you look closely at the NEV you can distinctly see the “O” shape quite clearly.

Why spend $8000 on a NEV? Total waste of money. Get an electric bike, a scooter or something.

Of course not, because electricity comes from magic!

Back in the real world, I bet that somewhere along the line something that generates the juice for these overgrown scooters does, in fact, produce carbon emissions. (Not that I care.)

If liberals really wanted to increae the nation’s electricity supply with bonafide clean energy, you’d see some funds for nuclear power in that good old “Stimulus!” bill. But somehow I suspect that isn’t in there.
