The clip Sean plays (at the top of every hour of his show) features Obama saying, “Hardcore Sean Hannity fans, who probably wouldn’t want to have a beer with me…”

Obama did not talk about having a beer with Hannity, but said it about Hannity fans. As a Hannity fan, I’d love to have a beer with the President, so I could respectfully discuss some of my concerns over his policies. However, Obama would not have a beer with someone like me because he has nothing to gain from it.

Obama has something to gain by having a beer with a well-known conservative like Hannity, so of course there is a reasonable chance he would. Hannity is proving nothing aside from the fact that he is able to blow a major opportunity to show Obama is full of crap in exchange for more media attention.

Yeah, cuz Geithner said “We’re going to try things we’ve never tried before.”

You just won over my husbands heart! That’s one of his all time FAVES!! He’s from Lebanon, PA and says Yuengling makes him think of home. We can’t get it here, so he has a client outside of Philly that ships him a case every 6 months or so. He’s like a kid in a candy store when that thing shows up.

. However I’ve got the feeling Ogabe is more of a Rolling Rock drinker. That crap taste like horse pi$$.

Nice, Becki. There’s a girl (presumably) who knows her beer. Stella Artois is another good one if you want something a little more high brow than Bud. I’ll never understand so many people’s fascination with Guinness though. I’ve tried to choke it down but can’t do it. If I wanted a warm beer after mowing the lawn, I’d just slit my wrists. There’s a reason refrigeration was invented.

It was Schlitz, and I don’t think so.

Its still made and I can get that and PBR here in Louisiana. Not too many stores carry it though.

Schlitz is now in bottles (still Milwaukee only?) and I have had PBR in draft, pretty good! The bar I “lived” at (heh) used to sell so many cans (a buck each) that they just started getting it in half barrels.

Is there any Billy Beer left over from the 70s?

If I were Obama, that’d be my preference too. Rush is good, Hannity just seems to reiterate the same talking points to the point of nails screeching on a chalkboard.

But if they do, let’s hope they can find a better beer than Meister Brau.

It’s a great movie. One of my favorite all-time comedies and a great deal better than the embarrassments which pass for comedy today.
