SO it would be correct in saying that vegitarians are responsible for Global Warming? We meatatarians are eating animals that produce C02 and they are eating the one thing that takes in CO2 and gives off O2. Has anyone told AlGore?

I can’t speak to Little Compton. I’m originally from the Barrington area, so got all of the haughtiness of NY at only 7/8ths the price:) (I got out for college and have been spoiled by NH) I do know that at least my regional school district was more expensive than my parents paid for private schooling and no better, bureaucracies ran the state and you needed to know someone to get anything done in the area.

For the maples want more sunlight, and the oaks ignore their pleas….

I learned about tree photosynthesis and respiration 40 years ago in high school biology.

You might want to look it up…if you don’t trust your elders.

I for one, do NOT want my two children and any children they may have to pay for my comfort or my neighbor’s health care. I am not my brother’s keeper if it means putting my children hopelessly in debt.

I saw Rush and UFO in ‘77, on Rush’s A Farewell To Kings tour. Xanadu will always be my favorite Rush song. It was an awesome concert.

I’m envious, I never got to see them when they did the A Farewell to Kings tour. The fact we appreciate RUSH going that far back proves we were fans before they were truly successful in America.

Xanadu is a great song as well, I’m sure it’s great to hear live in concert, but my favorite on that release is still Cygnus X-1, as I said the drumming in that song is awesome!!

But this pork legislation includes the Socialized Health Care that specifically will deny benefits to those over the age of X. This Socialized distribution of health benefits would have denied FDR treatment for polio, since he contracted it as an adult, and it was considered a childhood disease.

Bang for the buck, man. Low bidder wins everytime. Here’s how it is rigged. The exact same people will be doing the work (labor). Awarding it to an American company would bring in costs associated with unions (and the requisite payoff and skimming by the union and organized crime).

Letting a Mexican company hire Mexicans (here illegally) at $1.00/hr plus lunch gets the same job done in the same amount of time for billions less!

If a city needs tree planting and that brings real jobs and it puts people and their trucks and their trees and their nurserymen to work, and if it provides shade, and it provides greenness, and if it absorbs carbon, and if it engages in traffic calming, there are all sorts of good reasons why people would want to do that.

What is ‘engaging in traffic calming’? Smoking grass when you’re stuck in traffic and feeling stressed?

RUSH, A Farewell to Kings, my favorite RUSH release of all time. One of the best drummin songs ever is on that release, Cygnus X-1. Neil is a drumming master!!
