Not in this particular theater in the war on terror, at least. However, kissing butts in Iran and apologizing to them is akin to surrendering on may levels…surrendering our dignity, surrendering our position of strength, surrendering our ideals, and surrendering the battle for Israel’s survival.

Regardless of what Al Qiada is saying, Obama is a terrorist’s wet dream of a President.

If we pull out before the Iraqis have a robust police and military capability, disaster will ensue, as Al Qaeda and Iran will surely move back in and destabilize the fledgling nation at will.

The Democrat strategy was to get in power, not on the war, but on whatever issue was viable. The war merely seemed most viable at the time.

The economy crashed, which made Iraq irrelevant, so don’t expect a shred of accountability for Obama’s 180.

The crashed economy is Obama’s Okalahoma City bombing. That means it’s the best possible thing that could happen to a democrat. When the disgraced and impeached Bill Clinton reflected on his failed presidency, he said that Oklahoma City was a gift to him because it was political capital in his pocket, even as he did nothing to earn it. All he had to do was stroll around biting his lip.

Similarly, the economic collapse that happened under Obama’s watch gives him cover to change the subject. The war? Yesterday’s news. For a Democrat, there is never, EVER a principle behind the statement. The statement is whatever needs to be said to this audience at this time to remain viable.

You must never forget that.

Just about four years ago, I set out again on the Army road,

Here’s something to think about for a possible political nightmare for President O. Suppose he does renig on his absolute promise to get us out of Iraq by May 20, 2011 (16 months), but keeps his promise to close gittmo and release the inmates there. And then suppose sometime after 5/20/11, it is found that some of those released terrorists went back into action and killed American soldiers in Iraq? I hope someone is keeping score on blame.

B) Military needed to quell “citizen unrest”.

All four conditions exist simultaneously. Attention to reduce any one allows the other three to expand. What’s a poor inexperienced dictator to do?

HOPE for NO CHANGE. Promote incompetent leaders and try to bribe foreign threat. Produce famines. Reduce military pay and replace it with extortion. That’s the historic pattern. That’s also the pattern that was best expressed in the French Revolution.

Is this hurry, hurry the way to overcome 233 years of Freedom? The proposed laws are SOS for any fascist takeover. Best idea, hang tough on every bit of “legislation” from these turds. The slower it goes the more exposure. Besides, it’s one less stupid law that must later be overcome.
