This is a crap sandwich with some Heinz-Kerry ketchup and the liberals will be laughing and dancing as they head to their freakin’ tax payer funded conferences. How much you want to bet that unemployment goes up over the next two years while companies move their operations to more tax friendly countries?

It can’t just be me.

But accountability is one word that one seldom hears come out from between Daley’s teeth.

If I were to be laid off what kind of job should I expect from this stimulus? It is unlikely that this bill would stimulate other IT industries to hire more SEs. My college degree will do me no good when having to grab a shovel-ready government created job. I’m not down playing shovel-ready jobs because they helped me pay for my education.

All my hard work will be for naught and I’ll be forced to make as much as the next non-degree and non-certified shovel-ready guy.

Allahpundit, Ed, Malkin, Hannity, Limbaugh, Levin, after the fairness doctrine is passed, you may all be joining us shovel-ready workers.

Ah .. but Mayor Mumbles stumbled out of that insult:

“We can’t compete with the private sector. The private sector has a complete idea of who your customers are. Government doesn’t have customers. They only have citizens.”

Today, the mayor clarified his earlier remarks.

“I said that some people just watch the clock — government workers or anybody else — and leave,” he said. “But here in Chicago, we’re fortunate that people just don’t watch the clock.”

Of course he is right, but if GW said this he’d have been impeached. ; ))

He’s skimming money from the top of property taxes to fund all sorts of fun things (*cough*Olympics*cough*) at the expense of little, nagging issues (*cough*schoolspolice*cough*) which he’s probably wanting the Feds to pay for.

And heaven forbid should folks in Chicago want to blog about it anonymously…, they get subpoena’d.
