Two right-wing ladies by name, in fact, although I’m pretty sure this is meant for all of you. Simple yet melodic, playful yet risque — reminds me of John Mayer. Except more, you know, listenable.
Note the pro-life lyric. This ain’t baby-makin’ music, it’s baby-savin’ music. Exit question: Am I still allowed to groove on it even though I tend to go for lefties?

For all you kids who grew up on MTV back when it played, y’know, music, that’s the way it should be performed; by live musicians, sung without a vocal track by someone who drops the occasional lyric to catch his breath, and without quasierotic dance steps performed by silent on-stage “dancers.”

I love Zo.
For those ripping on him, I sing for a living (R&B, and I have a decent resume, with some things/people in it you guys would know), and I think he’s got some foundation there. What you’re hearing (and I’m sure he hears now too) is that it’s a little under pitch at times…but he’s got some things happening, and if he wanted to develop that part of his thing (he’s a bass player primarily, right?), he could do it.
If I knew him personally, I’d encourage it.
