And BTW-I am not advocating forcing these people into another lifestyle or religion.
I say let them stagnate in their festering hell holes by themselves.
The world should be containing them. Do not deal with them in any way shape or form.
If they want to be part of the modern world, then we should make them live up to certain standards.

Yes. Yes we are better. Western Society is better than the political-religious ideology of Islam.

There are also some religions that are better than others.
Human rights & the basic human right to be free in your opinion is not fully recognized or respected in every religion.
So when I say Islam is full of depravity, it IS, compared to the Western way of life.
I will stick to this to the very bitter end.
We can bring up the past depravity of Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Bhuddism, etc…all we want.
But as the religions stand today (& more enlightened than in the past), all of them are better than Islam.

I’m a veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, and as most vets can tell you, homosexuality is far more common in both cultures than anywhere in the West, including San Francisco. Of the two places, it’s more common in Afghanistan, so it would appear that the more fundamentalist they are, the more homosexual they are.

One thing: Before I can equate any of this criminal behavior with what goes on in San Francisco (or Atlanta, …), I gotta ask: how prevalent is consensual homosexual activity over there?

Do we know if anyone has seen or heard of such a thing over there, such as men who act outwardly gay to their confidants? (If so, are they the ostracized minority or are they part of the mainstream culture?) Or is all of it (or thereabouts) of the evil sort you witnessed? Thanks.

The Taliban even had to issue a directive to their fighters back in 2007 to stop raping little boys because it was hurting their reputation. The wording in the letter instructed Talibs to stop taking boys too young to grow facial hair into their private chambers. It doesn’t, however, ban the taking of boys – or men – old enough to grow facial hair into their private chambers.

Iraqis have a saying, “Women are for making babies, men are for pleasure”. Afghans are typically more into little boys. Have you watched or read “The Kite Runner”? The pederasty described in the book is not at all embelished.

The cultural Left thinks of itself as championing gays and women in opposition to the dominant order, or that element in our order (society) which is dominant. It comes to hate that order, to hate itself and the rest of us; so who could be more laudable than those who are not only “The Other” but who also hate us?

What their religion says and what they do are often directly at odds. I lived in the Middle East, Saudi, for a year. Saudi men often visited Morocco, Baharain especially and it wasn’t to meet with women. They also do not recognize AIDS in the Kingdom. They call it the “wasting disease” though I worked at the Security Forces Hospital in Riyadh and I can guarantee you it was AIDS. Alcohol is also forbidden, but get a jet load of them to Athens and they start drinking as soon as the plane takes off. Things are definitely not always as they seem or as they are presented.
