Has Obama even demanded that publicly in these first two weeks in office?
The truth is, you never know how good you had it until you don't have it anymore. I see socialism in this country the same way as a alcoholic has to hit rock bottom before he can appreciate what he lost and turn his life around.

When the mindless masses can't get things they can get now because the government tells them they can't, they'll turn around. It'll happen. Unless there is no USA at that point.

Obama is like Hitler in one ominous aspect: like Hitler he stated his goals and agenda clearly.

That he is extending a hand of friendship to Iran, Syria, Hamas, and Chavez should pose no surprise.

Obama is a socialist, Marxist, totalitarian, or autocratic. His goal is to 'transform' America into a 'socialist paradise' and in so doing dismantle and destroy the foundation of American society that has existed in the past 220 years: the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, freedom of speech and religion, 2nd Amendment rights, American exceptionalism, free enterprise, personal initiative and responsibility, and importance of family life and the belief in the natural rights of man bestowed to us by God.

If Obama and his merry men and women can establish a permanent presidency by abolishing the 22nd Amendment, they will succeed. I do not question their motives. I know their motives.

The only thing I don't know is what the American people will do when Obama comes first for their guns, then takes away their rights and then finally decides to marginalize them or 'purge' them. Will they fight or will they acquiesce to the Messiah?

How about we start with him funding the FARC in Columbia, heh?

BrianA on February 2, 2009 at 11:51 AM
Show me a difference between the people behind the American revolution and FARC and I guess you’ll have a point. The land oligarchy in Colombia couldn’t expect serfdom to continue forever didn’t they. Aren’t conservatives AGAINST serfdom, isn’t this the kind of thing we used to fund ourselves?

DeathToMediaHacks on February 2, 2009 at 11:58 AM

Death when is the last time you read your Declaration of Independence? Has Fark such a document? Has Fark raised an army to meet the enemy in the field of battle? Has Fark a political body that represents it? Has Fark listed for redress in a peaceful means it's grievances?
As Thomas Paine so elequintlypointed out to Howe in The Crisis 4 1777 "We fight not to enslave, but to set a country free, and to make room upon this earth for honest men to live in. In such a cause we are sure we are right.,and we leave to you the despairing reflection of being the tool of a miserable tyrant.
A "Freedom Fighter" fights for freedom. Not to trade one tyrant for another..

Great...now he's giving legitimacy to yet another (What Phil said.) wanna be dictator by sitting down to talk with Castro Junior. Go Obama! I can hardly wait for your next stupidity.
What American hating government will you embolden next with your child like naivete'? You did indeed do a great job with Iran. North Korea...the other "Dear Leader", is actively thumbing his nose at you and has pretty much thrown down the gauntlet. Has this penetrated through to you particular reality?
I can't afford to heat my home to the temperature I would like to keep it at. Fuel oil is low on my list of priorities right now, unlike you. Im gonna have to step outside into the night air to split some wood for the wood stove.
Islam is a lie and truth is killing it.
Happy Trails...

I think she absolutely needs to say “bye-bye” within 24 months, and hope that nothing that goes on between now and then doesn’t harm her. The way things are going during the first few weeks, that may be difficult.

DrStock on February 2, 2009 at 7:40 PM

Agree. But as a hard-core conservative, I want Obama (and Hillary) O-U-T. Despite everything, with her liberal leanings, she will be easily beat....

...however, she is less "scary", IMHO, than Obama...

This is the same as dancing on the flag, except his buddy Aires did that hidden in an alley. Little Hussein now shows the world how small he wishes this nation to become.

What do you call it when two clowns hold a meeting?

Great, just when Chavez support is weakening in Venezuela, Barry will prop up his stature and prestige. Exactly what Chavez behaviors are we reinforcing with this reward? And how is this not a stab in the back to freedom loving democracies in Latin America? The left is envisioning a socialist dictatorship in America in which elections are ceremonial formalities; Hugo Chavez is the model they wish to emulate

Excellent points. I am ashamed I didn't think of that. Clearly this is strong evidence for the the world to see that Obama favors socialist thugs.

Now Mr. Obama, who’s been in office about two months, goes to talk to Mr. Chavez, a guy who’s been in office 10 years, and seems to be everything Mr. Khruschev was in his time.

What is the expected result? I believe that Mr. Obama, like Mr. Kennedy, is in for a humbling experience.

Death2MediaHacks gets his talking points from thinkprogress and probably commondreas. Both sites are big supporters of Chavez.

I just went over to thinkprogress...amazing, people actually believe what they post? I thought it was an Onion type parody...now that explains his posts...remarkable, I thought MediaMatters was bad, this is almost comical, except people apparently really think this is legit. They even a still using the old line of "big oil" and Cheney, they are too stupid to know they are being stupid.

Has Obama talked to any of our normal Allies?

1st call in Oval Office to Palastenians.

1st TV interview on Arabic TV talking about his Muslim Heratige.

Any statements on his Christian faith or choice of a Christian Church?

Even odds he has a prayer rug in his Private Quarters.
