Not that it’ll do a bit of good. Lugar just got re-elected by a huge margin and Bayh will, too the next time he runs.

I forgot to call it a “crap sandwich”. I’ll have to remember to do that the next time I call.

The only difference in the three is how they go about getting there.

There’s not that much difference between the three.

In socialism, the govt tells business what to do.
In fascism, the govt and business work together, but when there is disagreement, the govt tells business what to do.
In communism, the govt owns the businesses directly.

Remember that the key criteria of ownership, is control. And in all three scenarios, the govt has full control.

NBC and MSNBC have put so much into identifying itself with Democrats and becoming the official mouthpiece of Obama, that it’ll be interesting to see what they do when the country turns back towards Republicans. Some people seem to always forget that politics moves in cycles.

Sigh…this Hoosier sadly agrees. He was a Republican to be admired in days past, but his fading mind is going soft and liberal. Probably why dementia and democrat start with the same syllable. I’d like to see him replaced by a Conservative but I can’t even find any reference to a legally recognized Conservative Party in Indiana.

I believe it is 57 demos 41 repubs and 2 Ind which caucus with the dems. That makes it one away from being filibuster proof. So If one squishy repub sides with the demos they don’t even have filibuster to help.

Please explain how a job is created and then explain how this package will create jobs. Real jobs, not make work “shovel ready” jobs – those are not sustainable jobs because unless they’re just going to build bridges to nowhere, very soon there will be no bridges to build. I’m sure that professional people are going to be well suited for those jobs as well (I love how the democrats pick the most labor intensive low tech jobs, this is not the 1930s).

Steele has already gave a veiled threat to anyone not standing with the Republican majority. There’s a possibility it may happen. Still I have to agree with you there will probably be at least one RINO that will reach across the aisle. But then I said that at least 10 Repub House members would vote for the damned thing. I was pleasantly surprised.

Only one? You are kidding right? I fully expect support from McCain, Snowe, Spectre and Grahm to begin with. They each have been giving the Lord and Master Obama Monica’s from Day One and now is the time to show their leader how much they really “care”…

Seems like everyone’s doing it.

This is not the time for “bipartisanship” or any such thing. It is time for President Obama to demonstrate that he is the leader the people elected and to stand up for the common man … by standing with the common man against the pervasive fraud, abuse, theft and lies that have been perpetrated by Wall Street, K Street and Washington DC in general over the previous twenty years.

Every day since he was elected he has been reminding us,,, it’s going to get worse. I wonder who will replace Biden. I just cannot imagine Biden staying the course these next 4 years.
