In the long run no smart politician will want to be associated with the Democrat Pork Package [88% Real Pork] of 2009.

DannoJyd on January 31, 2009 at 9:36 AM
That's why it's so vitally important that "we" take decisive, bold actions RIGHT NOW!!!!, don't you see. Plus, it's why it's important not to listen to those "extremist" conservative commentators.

The more this bag of garbage is left out in the open, the more it stinks.

I was watching Glenn Beck earlier. Supposedly, they're creating some sort of "bad bank" that will soak up the toxic assets. They're calling it the "Bad Asset Repository Fund" or BARF.

It doesn't matter what the Democrats take out in the Senate. It will get put right back in in the Conference Report.

That's the way they always do it.

The vote to watch will be on the Conference Report.

The Gang of 14 effort being spearheaded by Ben Nelson might help

Now that we've got Steele at the helm, you people need to help. Call all this GANG and tell them that the aren't little Napoleons running the RNC against it's own fiscally conservative principals. No one voted them into this position and McCain isn't President.

If you continue to allow these 14 idiots to hijack your party you deserve what you get! It's like those dang primaries where you let non-GOP registered voters vote for YOUR elected officials. What are you thinking? It doesn't matter if the have an 'R' at the end of their names if that don't do anything 'R' like.

Sadly, no matter what criticism the bill recieves, Obama’s ego probably won’t let him admit it’s a disaster.

And trying to convince him will qualify as hate speech. After all, it's not nice to criticize somebody's religion.

The scariest part of this whole thing is that this is only the frickin beginning. We are not even 2 weeks into this new administration and they already are ready to spend upwards to a trillion dollars on this crap. We still have almost 4 years to go how many more trillions will we spend before this is all over?

There are already rumors now of TARP2 and other spending bills that make this one look like chump change?

It will be a miracle if we survive the next four years!
