The Ed Morrissey Show: Inside Gitmo

posted at 1:00 pm on January 29, 2009 by Ed Morrissey

Today, on the Ed Morrissey Show (3 pm ET), we will talk with Lt. Col. Gordon Cucullu (USAF, ret) about his new book, Inside Gitmo: The True Story Behind the Myths of Guantanamo Bay. With all of the issues arising over Barack Obama’s orders to close Gitmo, we need to hear from a man who’s been inside and can tell us the good and the bad.

In the second half, I’ll have a surprise guest to talk about the American space program. We’ve covered its sorrow this week, but we should also celebrate its successes and give people a sense of what it meant from the inside.

Now you can join the conversation in the chat room! Be sure to register at Ustream to participate in our raucous live-chat sessions. (And if the log-in prompt doesn’t come up in the chat box below, use this link instead.) Jazz Shaw of The Moderate Voice moderates the chat, and he has his Troll Gun Trivia Contest running before the show, for those who get there early — and are registered!
