Obama must have had huge financial backing from Hollywood types that scripted out a Death to ~~Smoochy~~ Gitmo scenario. The Day One Gitmo orders are foolish announcements to mollify foolish but wealthy supporters. Surely there's enough money in the O'bailout to compensate these backers, so Barry can duplicitously backtrack. Wouldn't it be refreshing if the Commander-in-Chief traveled to the camp, confirmed the Inside Gitmo findings and eloquently announced a re-assessment?

Looking at his tax returns, it’s clear that he doesn’t know preferred stock from livestock. Watching him answer the tax questions in the ABC debate, it’s clear that he doesn’t know squat about tax policy. Watching him respond to the summertime Russia-Georgia flare-up, it’s clear that he doesn’t have a grasp of foreign affairs.

But this kind of thing is supposed to be right up his alley. And he blows it.
