I don’t disagree with anything said about my statements on what’s happening to California state workers above. If you have already lost your job, I truly feel sorry for you. But there are conservatives among California’s State workers who recognize the problem and we are vastly outnumbered. It’s not exactly wise to tell your boss to keep some of the money he’s paying you because you’re over paid. No, you collect your pay check and go home like everyone else. The interesting point to me is that this is going to effect so many people and has not broken as national news to my knowledge.

My wife of 39 years was a Mexican citizen–she has been a U.S. Citizen for many years. We get more and more bad news from her family members here and in Mexico whenever we talk to them or see them. We no longer cross the border from El Paso, Texas into Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico to visit family members due to the shootings and kidnappings there.

One of her aunts told how all small shops in her formerly middle class Juarez neighborhood are closed. The people are off the streets before dark. One man who ran a small one room tortilla and bakery shop was robbed by two AK-47 armed men a few weeks ago. They took the small amount of money he had and threatened him for not having more. He walked home later that day–they shot and killed him in front of his house.

Other family members put on old clothes and walk to visit family members–if they drive they will be robbed or carjacked. Over 1300 people were murdered in Juarez last year. More died than the U.S. Military lost in the real wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Many Juarez people have lost their jobs–very few tourists want to risk their lives there. In the long term the Mexican Government may fall–Pancho Villa style revolution may take care of a government that refuses to stop the killing. It looks a lot like Chicago in the 1920’s and early 1930’s when Al Capone had 20 percent of the police and government officials working for him.

Illegals have already taken down California. They’ll be heading for your state as soon as most of California’s hospitals an schools are boarded up and their low income housing and food stamps are taken away. By the end of February California’s ability to borrow money dry’s up.

All the talk about California’s financial problems ignores the burden of the illegals. As much a businesses complain they need these people, why are they still needed when the economy tanks? They can be used to replaced more expensive citizens as wealth disappears, but they contribute less in taxes, and many are un taxed. If everyone in Cal was legal, how would the tax revenues change? And how much would the public service burden be reduced on medical, bi lingual, and free lunches?

When an illegal bumps a citizen, we get a double burden, subsidizing the businessmen’s employee who pays less taxes and funding the unemployed citizen. California has been borrowing money to make unemployment payments for some time and the borrowed money is soon to run out

Well, when you are overpaid and under worked, this is what you get.
The union has “padded” the work place, not letting the free market control the pay and amount of employees, protecting useless employees from being fired, and negotiated retirements that the state can’t afford.
This is the result of unions and dems getting together…an bankrupt state.

I used to like Geraldo, but he showed his ass on illegal immigration. Rewarding criminals and unwanted behavior is the height of stupidity, and Geraldo was too ate up with latinitis. Just like welfare, rewarding people to be flunkies is also really stupid. The balance is tipping fast that we will soon have more useless flunkies than prductive producers. I sure hope Obama’s education has trained him to face up to this reality and it’s consequences.
